I am very grateful to the folks at KW Solar who came to my aid after I’d experienced several setbacks with our residential solar system. Subsequent to our installation, the installing company went out of business. Another company agreed to take over the service account on our system, but it became increasingly difficult to get anyone out for service calls. When several micro inverters stopped producing power, my repeated requests for replacements went unanswered for several months. When a technician was finally sent out to replace the micro inverters, something caused half of my system to go down. For over two months, I tried to get this company to send a technician out to try to find a solution to this problem. Again, the response consisted of feeble attempts and then a complete lack of response to my calls and emails. At that point I gave up and turned to KW Solar, whom I had found on the internet (I chose this company because their website contains a menu item detailing service and maintenance plans. I find it troubling that so many companies are very eager to install but less than willing to provide service when repairs are needed on existing systems). After speaking with Kathy, a crew was sent out and within a couple of hours a solution was found and my system is now up and running again. I am very grateful to Kathy and the solar technicians who agreed so promptly and willingly to come and take a look at a system they did not install, and who very quickly got to the bottom of the problem….at a very reasonable price, I might add. They have my vote of confidence! I highly recommend this company!

This is a great way to find out how much a solar panel system will cost and if it is worth doing. I would love to do it just to get some satisfaction of not being ruled by the power companies. The Wiz uses satellite views of your roof to calculate the area of panels and then the amount of your electric bill to do estimates of cost and time to pay off the system.
