The Uhlendorf Family

I purchased a used 2011 V50 back in Oct/2014 from a local Volvo dealer. Before I paid them, told the sale would depend on an inspection of my own mechanic. By then....I had heard about SWA and took it there. Right from the start, I felt like I could trust Johnny. He did a thorough inspection and told me the car was a keeper! Since then I have brought it over to Johnny exclusively and can only say that, they are honest and quick. They perform clean work and only use genuine Volvo OEM parts. Theyre "second to none" and even on a short notice I was able to get a loaner. Needless to say, I will only bring my car to SWA as long as I live in Houston. So, stop searching for part costs, labor estimates, etc and just dont even bother wasting time with a dealership! Take the car to Johnny, trust him and you will be fine.

Very dishonest body shop! I cannot comment about the repair job, however Body shop work is terrible, especially integrity of the manager. Israel told me that he bought a new part for my vehicle, however I have discovered that he sanded and repainted the part. He even showed me the original part from the dumpster but I know that was not mine because the accident impact location was not the same. I have pictures to prove it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE for body shop repair. They will give you a hard time. VERY DISHONEST MECHANIC!!

Discovered these guys while servicing a friends car. Service is excellent, very knowledgeable people, prices are very reasonable. I never really thought of owning a Volvo myself, but because of the quality of service of these guys, I started considering this brand as my next car. I never saw a mechanic shop so professional, knowledgeable and with such reasonable prices, all under the same roof. They are the best advertisement Volvo could have in SW Houston.

I found this place by accident and have not been disappointed. Johnny and his mechanics work exclusively on Volvos. Their prices are reasonable and the service simply superb. After hearing horror stories about Volvo dealers in the Houston area I now take my Volvo SUV to Johnny for any service I need. They programmed a new set of keys and remote and installed new software for me. A very satisfied customer.

I love Johnny and his staff there at Southwest Auto! If you own a Volvo, he is really the only sensible choice. They are incredibly honest (and we all know how hard it is to find an honest mechanic) and actually seem to care about their customers. My daughter has a 9 year old S60 that still runs like a champ, due to Southwest Auto! We will never take it anywhere else.

I always come here for my out of warranty repairs and Johnny and his team always take good care of my car. Ive also had body work done here and they are fantastic. Im on my second Volvo, which is new and still under warranty, but I bring it here because they charge much less for work that the dealer wont cover under the warranty. I highly recommend these guys!!

If you have a Volvo in need of maintenance or repair, this is the place to go. The mechanics are experienced and honest. Also, pricing is very reasonable, which is probably one of the main reasons people shop around. They wont charge you outrageous dealer prices like some other places. This is the only place in Houston Ill bring my Volvos. Check them out.

I have been going to Johnny and gang since I was 16 and about 6 volvos later am still going and dont trust anyone else to work on my car. Have refered friends and they were just as happy. I get treated very well and he is always will to explain what is going on and show me. This is a great place.

as a tow truck driver the stuff is not friendly at all they let you wait in the front for a long time then they let u go drop the car in the bag and they treat you like youre one from their workers .
