As we all know, its hard to find a mechanic that we can trust. I say that Ive found that place at Westheimer Auto Center. Once I had taken my car to the dealership for regular maintenance only to be told that there were a lot of things wrong with it and I need to replace a bunch of things. I suspected foul play and wanted a second opinion. My colleague referred this place to me. They checked the car and told me that nothings wrong with it. That was 8 years ago and they have my business since then. They are a little bit on the expensive side but I wouldnt mind spending a few dollars more to get trustworthy service. Once the car is in Marks shop, I know its in "good hands". I highly recommend this place.

These guys have been in business a long time and I alwas see them servicing fleet vehicles. This is probably a sign of a reputable shop. They have replaced a starter, brakes, and shocks for me and have done a good job. I dont think they will rip you off, but my guess is that they are a little on the higher end as far as prices go, but I dont have anything firm to substantiate that, other than my limited experience. Hope this helps.

I actually had to argue with the guy to do some extra work. Granted it wasnt "completely" necessary, just some preventative maintenance. But I gotta hand it to him, he wanted to save me some money. They did a good job on a timing belt for a kia, decent price. Way cheaper than Firestone.

I went here to check the car I wanted to buy. They checked EVERYTHING for a nice price. Luckily i didnt buy that car, it was in a major accident as these guys found out and a seller didnt mentioned it
