Never having taken many yoga classes (2), and finding what I had taken a total snooze (not in a good way), I was a little skeptical when my friend kept trying to get me to go with her to Hot Yoga. I finally agreed to go, even though there are no Yoga One locations closer than half an hour away from my home. I cant say I loved it from the first class ~ and I was pretty bad at it. But I made it through the hour and felt really, really good when it was done. And the instructor was great ~ very approachable and knowledgeable, willing to take the time to answer questions and help with modifications after class. So I went back. And by the 2nd class I was absolutely hooked. Im still very wobbly in the balance poses, and I have to do modifications of several poses, but I get a little better each practice. Oh, and I fully expected to be intimidated by all the skinny, super bendy fit people in class. Not so! People of all shapes, colors, and levels of bendy-ness have been in my classes. Absolutely in love with this new challenge and in YogaOne for providing it in such a gentle and welcoming way.

Im a current student here and have been for about a year. This place does extremely well and now has locations all over the city. They are well organized and their payment system and online experience is great. They have a variety of classes, times and teachers - its really where they shine. There are things I wish were different. I wish the classes werent as structured - some of them stay in the exact same routine for each practice. I feel the classes are way too crowded - I get its a business, but they should allow about HALF of the students they do in each class. You cant fully stretch - especially if youre over 55" or so. I find this in every studio at which Ive practiced in Houston. If any studio can give me the space I crave and personal attention, you will have me as a student!

I didnt get the opportunity to start the class. came in a few minutes late because of detours on the highway. A close friend and co- worker invited me to try it for the first time. I was excited until I was told I couldnt take the class because it had already started. I asked if I could slide In since I was only a few minutes late. The rude desk clerk said no. I said no problem well could you atleast let her know I came and will be leaving so she wouldnt worry about my arrival . The desk clerk said yes but when I asked if she could do it before I left she was rude and said no. Never been treated so rude at a studio. I wouldnt suggest this studio to anyone because of rude coustomer service especially if its your first time.

I found this place from a Living Social deal back in July. I was in search for a new "Yoga Home" after changing jobs. I love everyone here! Every teacher is knowledgable, and always willing to help guide you through your practice! The studio has a sense of compassion and zen-ness to it :) I LOVE this studio, and hope I never have to change jobs, because this studio is not close to my house! Thank you Yoga One! I enjoy everyones attitude and class each an every time!

Love the studio, love the teachers, all around great place! It is extremely expensive however, not that yoga should be really low priced, but it has stopped myself and 5 friends from going back after our 10 class pass ran out - which by the way is an awesome concept to get you hooked! 20$ gets you 10 consecutive days of yoga. Make sure to bring a change of clothes because yours will be soaked through if you go to a hot yoga class!

Ive only attended class with two instructors at your location, but loved them both. Lizs flow class always offers some new variation on poses weve all done 100s of times. Her class is challenging & engaging, her instructions clear, and her focus and dialogue never forced or contrived - she seems to speak from her heart. Also attended the Thanksgiving class with live music, taught by Davina - fun, fun, fun!!!

Great staff and friendly staff. Even though I am a beginner yogi, the instructors and the front desk staff is always friendly and makes me feel welcomed. I have also been to the YogaOne in Bellaire and it is great to see such consistency in customer service. Im currently overweight but am already improving so much in the past week and I know yogaOne will be a great part of my journey. Thank you!!

This is a great yoga studio. Lots of classes and a range of different instructors. The facilities are also pretty good. This place has much more "real" and personable than many corporate style yoga gyms. Plenty of parking. They offer per month pricing, but also per class pricing. I really like this because you can buy a bunch of classes and then use them whenever you want.

I do not like hot yoga, but these studios also offer fantastic flow and forrest classes. Great teachers (9/10 of my teachers were knowledgable, genuine, generous-hearted and created interesting sequences, one mightve been a new teacher), really friendly front desk staff, great deals, very clean studio nice changing rooms/showers. You are amazing.

Awesome yoga studio! Love the classes, people who works behind the scenes, who provides an awesome inviting environment as soon as you walk into the facility to the instructors running their classes. The facility is always clean which is a big deal when factoring in the amount of sweat left behind each class. Great sense of community OVERALL.

I enjoy the friendliness of everyone that I encounter at Y1. It makes me feel like I am home. I enjoy the classes and instructors. Tonys Core class on Sunday is incredible. And, well, you have the One Love Juice Bar which serves the best drinks in Houston. Try the PB&B! Further, I sub as a karma yogi at Midtown. Great atmosphere!

Amazing hot yoga classes! Great classes for all different levels of yogis. The classes are very large and sometimes full so its not as personal of an experience. Its nice to have two locations to take classes from and the class times are convenient. Parking can be tricky so be sure to plan time for that.

"The instructors are a healthy combination of people from all walks of life. "Yoga for every body." It can be really intimidating to walk into a yoga class and everyone looks the same. Its so refreshing that Y1 teachers are all different backgrounds, styles, physiques, and lifestyles."

The convenience with multiple time slots offered throughout most of the day is great. And the many different styles of classes offered from the different instructors is excellent. I have had so many great instructors each offering help in a different way.

I work at Texas Childrens Hospitaland therefore I jave a crazy work schedule. This is the only studio that actually offers classes before 6 am; therefore I can.go before work. When I dont get off work until after 7 I go to their 9 PM class.
