Fedex ground is pathetic. I was supposed to receive a package on a Wednesday. I received two other packages from Fedex on that same day, yet for some reason, the third wasnt delivered. When I called, they first claimed they didnt know what happened. Then on Thursday afternoon, they updated my case saying something about customer not present and thus package not delivered. Yet both the other packages were delivered and I was there to receive them. I called them back and they said the package would be delivered later Thursday afternoon. But at 6:30pm, when the package was still not there, I called Fedex again. Was put on hold for 15 minutes while the operator tried to reach the local office. When they did get in touch, I was told that for some reason the package was not put on the truck on Thursday morning and thus would not be delivered until Friday. Was told I could drive 45 minutes to pick it up myself, but I declined since I was assured that the package would be delivered on Friday. Well, Friday came and went and no delivery. Called again at 6:30 pm on Friday and eventually was put through to an agent at the Fedex local facility in Irving. That person said they couldnt find the package. They indicated that they would attempt to locate it and call me later that evening or perhaps on Saturday and I was told that if they found it, I could drive to Irving (45 minutes) to pick it up myself. I was sincerely ready at that point to make the drive, because I figured I didnt want to wait until Monday. Well, they never called. It is Monday afternoon and apparently, they still have not found the package, because it hasnt been delivered yet and the tracking page hasnt been updated since last Wednesday. So Im pretty sure they completely lost it. I called the company whom I ordered the package from and initiated a lost package claim. But that is going to take 10 days to resolve. So here I am without anything and Fedex will do nothing to resolve the situation. They are truly pathetic.

I recently ordered a dinning room set from Walmart and they shipped it via Fedex Ground. The Fedex ground person came to our property for delivery of item, when he saw few stairs he made change to our delivery and in his scan equipment he put exception delivery (no one at home) and went straight to leasing office(Shows in tracking information). My family members saw him not stopping for delivery (since we knew delivery was due for that day) and called leasing office right away and asked them to tell driver to delivery item to us at our door (since the delivery address was our apartment and not leasing office). We were surprised to hear from our leasing office that the driver did not wanted to deliver item to us and told them that we were not at home(Lied), when we were at home. Just because the item was heavy the guy did not wanted to deliver item to us, so he dumped item at our leasing office and went off. Fedex people have equipment at their disposal for heavy item lifting and they are paid to do this, but still some people dont want to do honest work. I called Walmart and Fedex customer care center multiple times and Fedex customer care center are just like there Fedex delivery centers(not helpful or courteous), when ever I called them was told that they communicated the delivery store my issue and store people will connect with driver and get item delivered to us. Since then many days have passed and they are still not able to connect to there driver, who picks items for delivery from that store(What a Joke), all this shows irresponsible nature of Fedex people. Please learn from your competitors they are much more responsible than you guys.

If I could give this no stars, Id do it with my eyes closed. Experience was horrible..apparently it does not matter if you call them to leave a case note to inform them to tell the driver to leave your package at your door. And theyre incredibly disorganized and have horrible lack of communication. I called them more than 3 times to tell the damn driver to leave the package at the door. Then they told me the notes dont go to the driver when another rep told me they were going to inform the driver per the notes. So then I was dealing with liars and was being misled over and over. Then after waiting by door this afternoon nobody comes, and before I left, I left a personal note as well as a FedEX note with signature to leave the #$!@ing package by the door, but I get a "Delivery Exception" stating there was an attempted delivery during the time I was at home. Then they told me they tried delivering at the mgrs office, when I specifically told them to LEAVE AT MY DOOR... Now my package is delayed because they either have incompetent idiots that dont know how to pass a simple message, or they hire drivers that are illiterate and pretend that they can read case notes.

Their drivers are completely incompetent. A package that was supposed to be delivered on Thursday was not. My apartment complex is locked, and therefore packages are always left at the office, for some reason, even though no signature was required, this was not done. I called FedEx Thursday evening to explicitly request that it be left at my apartment office on Friday when it would be redelivered. I had the representative repeat the notes they took verbatim. Today, surprise surprise, it was again NOT delivered because I was not at home. The driver didnt even read the notes which the manager of the location apologized for but made no attempt to correct. The only "solution" offered was if I wanted to drive 45 minutes either way and pick it up myself. What a joke. I will NEVER use FedEx again, and neither will the school that I work for. You would think when a business is 100% at fault, a good practice might be to go above and beyond to make it right. Well, this one didnt. That sucks.

I dont usually give bad reviews if a company at least tries. But this particular Irving location consistently lies about attempting deliveries. I own a business that ships and receives packages daily, much of which is vital to our day to day operations. Recently, several of my packages were misrouted and were not delivered all together on a Friday. Then they lie and said they attempted to deliver the packages to our business at 6:58 AM a Saturday morning! Really? No door tag was left. Either. Then on Monday the packages are still not delivered and no sight of a FedEx delivery truck for our entire office complex. Thats right no other businesses got there FedEx Ground deliveries today! Called FedEx Customer service 3-times on Monday and each representative called the FedEx Irving Dispatch Center and the same lady told them 3-different lies! Amazing. I have a strong feeling they did not field a driver for our route today and they are lying to cover their own butts. Worst FedEx ever!

I have no idea, How this place has high ratings. Not sure if its just the driver in my area but if it is he needs to be fired! I had a package delivered last week. I waited all day for the guy and checked periodically on the website waiting for delivery and the driver stated on the website that he left a note on the door. This was not possible as I was working in the yard at the time stated that he arrived. I am currently dealing with the same issue right now. I missed work yesterday waiting on a package that never arrived. I called the office they said the driver left a door tag and he did not. I then called back to speak with another representative and she said they have no information in there system I was waiting on the package. I gave her tracking info as well as my address and could not find anything! Going forward, I refuse to deal with a business that uses Fedex shipping!
