I had hope for Fantastic Sams after reading other reviews and thought they would be able to do a baylage/ombre look on my brown hair. I wanted it to naturally flow from brown to blonde, I even brought a picture of what I was going for and said if it wasnt possible that I just wanted to dye it darker. I was assured that it was possible and not to worry. What I got was a heavy highlight with uneven coloring and some orange in my hair. I knew when I walked out that door it wasnt what I had wanted but I hoped after sleeping on it and showering that it would grow on me and work out. I had originally scheduled a follow up so that the technician could fix this but when my usual back up colorist had an opening I took it instead. When I called to ask for a refund the manager informed me the owner was not giving refunds and that I shouldve come back to have the same technician who messed it up in the first place fix it. The owner was at the store at the time I called and refused to speak to me. She did not offer any type of discount or offer. No apology that she was sorry it did not work out. Not a word. There is so much wrong with what was done with my hair and the fact that they think this end result is OK is beyond my comprehension. It is so disappointing that the owner couldnt take 2 minutes of her time to speak with me regarding this and even more so that she could not understand the distress it caused me having to go into work with hair that looked better suited for a circus than a professional setting. I will never go get my hair done at this salon again and I encourage any woman who wants any coloring in her hair to not go here.

Horrible Experience with this store. I went to this location because it is on the way home from work and had had a good experience with the one in Mckinney. Service was prompt and the girl (Victoria) seemed to know what she was doing, but when I got home and styled my hair, NOTHING was even. My hair was a mess and it looked like a butcher had tried to cut it with a blindfold on. (Please note that it is practically impossible with my particular hairstyle to tell how well it was cut until I have cleaned it and styled it). I then tried to go back to the store several times that week to get it fixed but every time I drove up (within business hours!) a notice was on their window saying "closed today, come back tomorrow". This was several days in a row! I tried calling the store, but no one ever answered when I called and I was unable to leave a voicemail because of a full message box. After a week went by with no contact and their store being closed repeatedly I emailed corporate. Apparently this nonchalant behavior towards their customers is spear-headed by corporate as I did not receive a call back or any form of communication from them apologizing or acknowledging the atrocious experience I had. I would not recommend this place or the Fantastic Sams brand to ANYONE and if I could give it zero stars, I would. I hope they close their doors for good very soon.

Liars & Untrustworthy come to mind. I called looking for Araseli a lady who did a great job cutting my hair and it took me nearly a year to find someone like her. When I called I was told "she no longer works here" ....... ok where did she go "we do not know" she left no information for her clients? "no" Do you have her phone number? "No" really then how would you call her to tell her a work schedule? "ummm errr well uh" I did not ask for her number but you could call her and give her my information so I can get my hair cut. "Oh well we have other stylist you can use" I am sure you do but, that is not what I asked for. I spent good money at your business because you had someone who did a great job cutting my hair. I want that person to cut my hair period. Total liars and unfit to run a business. If you happen like me to find a person who does a great job make sure you get their phone number because these cheats only want you to come in their doors. Pitiful Owners

I went into Fantastic Sams. Told them I was in a hurry and they said it would be a 10 minute wait. So I ran and grabbed food and came straight back. One of the stylists finished cutting the hair of the client she was working on. Then instead of calling me over proceeded to help the other stylist cut the other clients hair. Two stylists working on one persons hair? That makes no sense. In any case, this continued and after 30 minutes from the time I got there I just left.

Walked in with my little sister to get her hair done and my sister was having some bad hair days. Stylist (Moe) i believe her name was hooked my little sister up. Took her time and made sure she looked good. She had me laughing too, friendly person then again everybody in there was friendly. They cut hair for males too, might see how it is.

My experience was awesome my hair came out just as expected..i came in for a walk in appointment and my stylist was Mariah aka Moe...She was. Very professional and knew what she was doing and knew the answers to my concerns.. I would definitely come back and refer this place and the stylist to all who wants an awesome hair service.

They quoted my wife a price to go from brunette to blonde over the phone, but when we got in there they doubled the quoted price. Needless to say she walked out. Felt like bait and switch tactics. If they were even slightly willing to work with us on finding a middle ground on the issue then maybe they would have kept a customer.

Had a wonderful experience at Fantastic Sams this morning! Aimee trimmed my hair and did a fantastic job. She was personable and friendly too! Book an appointment with her... shes great! She moved to the area from California in February.

I went in there and told the lady I wanted a long flat top I dont know what she thought that meant but I thought I explained it to her very clearly and I left completely dissatisfied

Do not go .. she took 5mins to do a fade and looks awful. No care or worry about making the customer happy. And there was no one waiting.. omg so awful.
