Highly recommend! This was the 2nd time I had to arrange for a funeral. We brought my mother here to live her final years with us during her illness not knowing which funeral home we would call when she passed. The hospice she was with recommended Alternative Funeral Services in Mansfield and we were so grateful they did. Daryl and Melisa were so compassionate and understanding and our family felt at complete ease with them during the entire process of preparing the funeral arrangements. We were very impressed with the personal attention they provided and the recommendations they offered to make my mothers funeral service more memorable and unique. Never did we feel like we were being pressured to buy anything and their prices were very reasonable compared to our last experience. We have received so many compliments from our friends and family who attended. Their facility was BEAUTIFUL and when Daryl told us that this was "our home" for the evening we had the visitation, really made me know that what they do was from their heart. Cudos to the wonder service they provide. They were truly a God send and I cannot thank hospice enough for referring us to Daryl and Melisa.

I can not say enough nice things about the staff at Mansfield Funeral Home. When we were faced with the sudden reality of losing our father, we placed a few calls around the area searching for quotes and help. Other funeral homes gave us the run around, quoted us outrageous prices or treated us like we were just another dollar to line their pocket. Daryles professionalism far exceeded our expectations and he never attempted to sell us anything we didnt need or want. He allowed us to tell him what we wanted and worked with us, our church and the cemetery, limiting the amount of work we had to do. The funeral home itself is gorgeous and has an overall calming, peaceful atmosphere. At times, it felt like we were at home. Five stars is not a high enough rating for Mansfield Funeral Home.

Christie, Rod, & the rest of the staff were extremely professional and supportive through our circumstance. They treated us like family and made sure that our needs were met through the entirety of our sons funeral service. They were extremely punctual and methodical with the planning of the entire funeral. We could not ask for a better staff and funeral home to help us through the process!

Very caring and professional people at Alternative Funeral Services. They made the worst time of my life as easy as possible. I felt at ease after leaving the funeral home the day we made my fathers funeral arrangements. Daryl and his wife were wonderful and we will always use them in the future.
