I would recommend the Wade Family Funeral Home hands down over the larger more well known funeral business in town. After several appointments with another funeral home, we were tired of being treated like we were buying a car when we were trying to make arrangements for my mother. The Wades were very friendly, respectful, accommodating and sensitive to our needs. They made a very hard time easier to get through and did not take advantage of us during a very emotional and weak time as some funeral homes have been known to do. We got to know the Wade Family by first name and what was going on in their family as we lost 3 family members within 6 months. They became more like family friends to us and it was a relief to know who we would go to for arrangements each time without question.

Having to say goodbye to a loved one is never easy but the Wade Family Funeral home made our experience so much easier than I ever thought it could be. I also want to say that I have dealt with several funeral homes over the years and Blake and his team are the most sincere people I have encountered to date. I never once felt like it was just a job for them. That is hard to find these days and I want to thank them so much for the care they provided to our family. I highly recommend this very caring business.

Nice place, clean and well staffed. I came in right before the service started and while there were staff in the entrance and open seats no one was ushering and I wasnt sure where I needed to be. Also, during the service and viewing the staff did their jobs but didnt really seem to have a reverent demeanor. I know its a small thing, and if they do it everyday its normal to them, but for the family and guests it is a solemn occasion.

My 20 year old daughter passed away. They took care of her, and myself, with care and compassion. They helped take care of the majority of the paperwork, and start to finish were super nice to work with..every person I spoke to were very kind..really helped make this terrible situation bearable. The front reception area is comfortable and homey.
