People don’t only flock to Orangetheory Fitness for the intense workout. Many are also interested in its ability to maximize excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), also known as afterburn. This effect is why “Clients continue to burn calories for up to 36 hours after the workout. That’s why you wear a heart-rate monitor and the instructors continuously push you to tap into your “orange zone.” (The displays chart your progress in real time through five different heart rate zones: gray, blue, green, orange, and red). The orange zone specifically—which is 84-91% of your maximal heart rate—is the targeted range the Orangetheory folks would like you to stay in for 12-20 minutes of your training time. Doing so is what helps keep your metabolism revved post workout. Translation: you’ll leave feeling like you’ve downed a double shot of espresso. Its the most user friendly workout Ive found simply plug into the system & THRIVE.!

The instructors are kind and they remember you from previous workouts. You can tell that they study before what will happen and they are able to monitor both groups, yet provide personal assistance when needed. They look like they are having fun as well as the front desk staff. I had an issue with the app and the front desk helped me out right away. I like that they use the pre-arranged workout music so I dont have to suffer to them doing poor karaoke to their personal taste in music (some sites do this). I would recommend this even if you are just starting out cause within a couple weeks, you will notice a difference in your muscle memory with the workouts and the clients are encouraging as well!!

Its challenging, its never the same thing twice. I always walk out of the class feeling a huge sense of accomplishment. The coaches are phenomenal and not only do I want to push myself for me, but I want to push myself for them! This is a workout facility that really pushes the limits and is incredibly addicting! Orange Theory is the only workout for me!

I love that I can just show up and I am guaranteed a great workout! Everyday is something different, it is fast-paced and keeps you moving, and the instructors are fantastic! They motivate you to push yourself harder to give it all youve got!
