There are so many other daycares in north Plano/Frisco that are far better and the same or less on tuition. The directors are cold and despondent. They dont have any passion, kindness, or devotion to children. I never see them smile. The toddler classes repeatedly contracted Hand Foot Mouth disease, twice in one month, in fact. It was then that I had had enough with seeing the teacher let the kids eat their potty treats in the bathroom, dirty bathrooms, and nap mats and blankets, etc pulled out of cubbies and all over the room. Of course, the directors didnt believe me and said the teachers denied it. I asked that my daughter spend one day in the next room up, after the second HFM disease hit her room. I absolutely did not want her to catch it AGAIN. Its worse than chicken pox. She said no way, my daughter "isnt special, and she does not get special treatment". The director has absolutley no understanding of customer service. Some teachers are great, ie. Pre-K teachers, but it is not worth going to this school to put up with the laziness and coldness of the people that run the school. I immediately found an amazing, clean, organized, and highly loving and kind school that was cheaper, within 3 miles of Cambridge! What was I missing, I thought, when I toured another school, saw their food they serve, extra activities, teachers, playgrounds and pool. DON"T send your kids to Cambridge!

Last year being new to Texas and not knowing what was good or bad, I was fortunate enough to find Cambridge. My main focus was for my kids to be in a place where i knew i was going to have the "they are safe" state of mind, since it was the first time they would be in a daycare and afterschool. I have 3 kids in Cambridge and I am happy with each one of their teachers. My 2 year old is here all day and I couldnt ask for anyone else that shows the attention needed the way Ms. Angela does in the morning...As I am sure the other teachers do as well :) Even teachers he hasnt had such as Ms. Anita show him love every morning. My other 2 kids are schoolers who come during the afternoon... They absolutely LOVE being here.... Ms. Suzy has been there for me since the beginning. She knows every single child that walks through that door and makes it a point to say good morning to each. Being a single mom she has given me needed advise as well as hugs when I was down. (She also has a way of keeping my kids in line when they give me braty-ness, which i appreciate. My kids love her and I couldnt ask for a better "head of house" here. :) I am so happy with Cambridge and would recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, great staff, loving daycare/afterschool. I know i feel comfortable knowing that this is the group i chose to be apart of my family :)

Deciding to go back to school last after being a stay at home mom for almost 4 years, I was determined to find a day care where I knew my children would be safe and happy. My middle child had several behavioral problems and was very withdrawn. Mrs. Angela (the twos) helped my son open up in ways I never could imagine. He has now moved up and has class duties that he follows through with :) My youngest was in Mrs. Anitas class when we first started. She is amazing and takes care of the babies like they are her own. My oldest excelled in all areas including language and imagination. He has gained so much confidence in himself since starting here. I wouldnt hesitate at all to recommend Cambridge Academy to anyone.

After just a few weeks my son picked up language never heard before. On top of that he was being bullied by some older kids, one of which I was told was a teachers son. I alerted the front desk person who was supposed to have the director call me to address the situation but I never got a call. Also, I only saw chaos every time I went to pick him up. Saw the teacher on her cell phone while the kids seemed to be doing whatever as if there was nobody there to have some kind of order. Needless to say, after several attempts to talk to the staff about my concerns and nothing being done about it, II pulled my son out without even giving a notice.

My daughter went to Cambridge for 3 years and my son will finish pre-K this year and his fourth year. We moved from Michigan and looked at many day care centers. We chose Cambridge and have been extremely happy. My kids love the teachers. Some have been there forever! Low turnover and a friendly staff result in a family feel. Great activities and playground. Large clean rooms. Spanish & computers. They offer swimming lessons, karate, dance, amazing athletes for a reasonable fee.

They were amazing! My son has a disability and they went out of their way to make accommodations for him. Miss Suzie was so invested in my sons well-being and Miss Zack was an amazing teacher with incredible patience. One of the best daycares my children have ever attended.
