The infant room is very good. I put both of my daughters there and they were very happy. The teachers are very nurturing and I feel like the room is calm and loving. Mrs. LaToya is probably the best teacher in the entire school. The kids love her and she is the teacher for the 1-2 year olds. She sings with them, makes crafts and they are very happy in there. Once the children move to the 2s class it is terrible. The teachers are on their phones sitting against the wall, there is no curriculum, Ive never gone in and seen my child do anything other than running around the room - literally. The calendar posted is always about 4 months old. They give the children the wrong sippy cups so theyre all drinking the wrong cup and at the bottom they tend to have food in the cups!! I have talked to Lorraine, the director over and over and the turnover in the 2s is terrible. The class literally has a new teacher almost every 2 months. They do no crafts other than scribbling on a piece of construction paper. I have gone in a few times and they are playing rap music from the class radio. I requested multiple times not to give my child milk and juice, water only but because of the high turnover of teachers, they were always giving her milk and juice even though it was posted on the fridge. For the 3s class that is taught by Mrs. Jennifer, I have gone in a few times during nap time and seen her sleeping in a bean bag in the room. She didnt even wake up one time when I came and took my child. In the afternoons starting around 4pm, many days I have come in to see the teacher in the 3s have her cell phone out propped up on the table and 5-7 kids around it with the lights off and them trying to watch a movie from an i-phone. Why are they not outside playing when no-one is on the playground and its a beautiful day?? In the afternoon the older kids have to sit on squares and watch TV when many of them have come from school and are there as an after school program. They are yelled at if they get up and instead of going outside and letting them run around, the afternoon teacher in there sits in this chair and just yells at the kids if they get up off their square - and makes them watch TV. If you can afford to go somewhere else, I would. They have two different buildings and the director, Lorraine is in one building but there is no administrator in the other. They have fake cameras posted in the second building to make you think they are monitoring those teachers and classes but they dont work. And Lorraine says the owner will not pay for working cameras so they have no idea what is going on in that building unless they walk over to it. Which is why in the 2s class its so bad - The teachers just do what they want and no one is watching. Lorraine will make every excuse in the world to you about how they have curriculum but they dont - Ive seen parent after parent complain to her and she does nothing to really get the school to the level it needs to be at. Its actually one of the more expensive daycares for the area. Small Miracles academy is one street over and a lot of people have moved their children from Richardson Learning Center to that daycare because its actually got a curriculum, its cheaper, its clean and loving. Whatever you do, do not take your child to Armadillos to Zebras. They have multiple violations and a mother just recently posted a photo of her 1 year old with a huge hand print across her face. They are being investigated. For the infant program and Mrs. LaToyas room they are GREAT. But once your child goes to the 2s and 3s class, I would move them. We are at Kid First at First United Methodist and they play ALL the time outside, they make fantastic crafts, they have a full curriculum and my three year old can already spell her name and write it. She knows her alphabet, she knows her colors and her months. Its amazing what a difference this new daycare has made. Your child is safe at Richardson Learning Center but its just average. Nothing great.

My son spent less than a month here. He came home with several bite marks, and scratches after the first few days. His teacher had no idea how or when it happened. My thought is, they must have either left the children unsupervised or just ignored my childs cries. I went to speak with the director, who was sitting in her office watching a gummy bear song video on YouTube at the time, and informed her that i was concerned about my sons safety. She replied children are children and sometimes these things will happen. Being a naive first time parent I thought i may have been over reacting. However, the scratches and bite marks continued. My husband and i both spoke with the director, who told me she was aware of a situation with a certain child and would speak to the child and parent about it. My son is 2! Any other children in his class are around the same age. Im not sure how you discuss behavioral issues with a two year old but I trusted them. The final breaking point was when my husband picked up my son, only to find his bottom lip was busted and bleeding. He also had deep scratch on his cheek that has since turned into a scar. He asked the teacher about it and again, no one had any idea how it happened. He was infuriated and immediately went to speak with the director again. She was conveniently out of the office, and my son hasnt gone back since. This place is a complete joke. The price was cheap and with our first child we were unaware what to look out for. Id rather pay an arm and a leg and know my child is safe and being cared for than to have extra money in my pocket. Keep your babies safe and away from this horrible place.

My child was enrolled from October 2015 to November 2016. We really enjoyed our experience there, the teachers were kind and everyone knew my kid by name. They were flexible with my schedule, as most days I wasnt able to pick up my child until after 6. She learned her letters and colors and would come home with projects related to the seasons & holidays, and potty training at home was a breeze because they had worked with her so much at school. We only left because she was accepted into an advanced program somewhere else, otherwise we would still be there today.

If I could give more stars I would! I truly loved this school sooo much sadly we moved to Mckinney so its too far of a commute. My son did so well here he thrived a lot he would be happily run down the hall towards Mrs. Latoyas class! The price was a little more than I would like to pay but the indoor play area and a well maintained up to date covered play area made the price okay. They worked very well with our breast milk and cloth diapers as well! We moved away when my son was 16 months.
