This is the best kind of garage. I am a shade-tree mechanic. Theres a lot of things on my car I can fix, but mounting and balancing tires are not some of those things. These guys are predominately a tire shop, and they do it well, and inexpensively. However, they WILL quote you off the top of their head based on how busy they are, how nice you are, how much work youre making them do, and whatever other factors happen at the moment. The price has always been fair. I wouldnt expect it to be fair if I gave them crap about it, and then came back the next day because I couldnt find a better price, expecting them to still honor the original spoken quote. If you want a place that will honor yesterdays price today, then get it in writing from a bigger place - I guarantee you it will be more expensive. Overall, these guys are great. Ive been there three times now and they have been exactly the kind of garage I like - reliable, cheap, and friendly. Plus, they are open Sundays, and never seem to be very busy. I will absolutely keep my business here.

Nothing i was quoted for repairs that were unessary. I was told i needed a new master cylinder and proportion valve for my breaks $550 was the quote. It was only a bubble in the break line $50. I had a short in the dash quote $500 cost $50 it was a ground wire that was disconnected. I was turned away for an alignment twice because they didnt have time, a tire balance 5min because they were closing early worst part is thats just the start. Their estimated work time is higher than anyone else in the business by at least an hour. A blower motor quoted at four hours of labor anywhere else one hour over the period of one year Ive never heard so much bs from a company in my life their used tires $20 more than their competition for a tire with less tred. Needless to say they want your money but dont care about you or your car as long as they use the right manipulations to act like they care. When in reality its just another way for them to take peoples hard earned money.

I had a terrible experience here during an inspection. They were unprofessional and impolite. They could have saved me the time and even the money spent waiting on an inspection that shouldnt have been done in the first place. The "service engine" (European) light was on in the vehicle. I was under the impression that it just needed resetting after my oil change rather than it being equivalent to the check engine light that most standard cars have. I dont like confrontation and consider myself to be an easy going person. When I asked politely if I could speak to the manager, the man snapped at me, "I am the manager"! I thought managers were supposed to have customer service skills... Dont waste your time here, there are so many other places to go, like Bass Auto Repair down the street. Every review they have is excellent!

Unsportsmanlike Conduct

These people saved my life. I had a flat driving on a donut, after changing my tire and breaking my hand when the jack slipped and the tire and CAR fell on it. Scott, God bless you for taking the time to help me that day. Ash, thank you for working with my financial situation. I had to go back today for ANOTHER flat in which Scott plugged TWO wholes and did what he could with the rim so I could get to my parents house for Christmas right when they were closing. Words cant express how Richardson Discount Tire saved my life and how grateful I am to have had such amazing customer service and empathy. I will never go anywhere else!

Wish I could agree with the previous reviews. Took my car in to have the A/C checked. Was informed that it needed a new condenser, okay so I buy one and put it on recharge A/C still a catastrophic leak. Start investigating and theres a hole the size of a pencil in hose assembly that is completely visible from either side of the car. Guess what, it was spraying right onto the condenser where the wet spot was that was a "leak". My guess it was one of two things happening: 1.) They have sub-par mechanics or 2.) They were trying to ream me for the $180 for a condenser and only replace the $33.99 line. or both!

Stay far far away from this place!! I called to see how much an A/C tech sh would be, had to listen to the guys "sales" pitch for why it costed 100 bucks (honestly didnt care, just needed the repair done). Flash forward an hour and a half and I hadnt heard back from the shop (initial estimate was 45 minutes) I called only to be told that my compressor would need to be replaced, not interested since this only place that has looked at the car. I took it down to Arapho Stickers and they were able to deduce that the A/C just needed flushing. So save your money and the headache and work with a better place.

I love this place. They are very helpful, are upfront and honest, and have the customers interest in mind. I first came to them when a dealer tried to overcharge me for a new tire. Richardson Discount Tire patched it in less than 5 minutes for ten bucks. 3 years later when that tire needed to be replaced they gave me an unbeatable price and didnt try to sell me on the other tires that didnt need to be changed. Cant recommend them enough.

I have known the owners for years and have never had an issue. I continue to use both locations (Spring Valley and Arapaho) without issues. I suggest if you have employees who are rude or unprofessional, then advise owner. You are a customer and should be treated properly. By law, if you agree for vehicle to be repaired they must advise you of issue and give you repair cost before officially doing the work.

I had a nail in my driver-side rear tire and was hoping to get my Lexus fixed without waiting long and or trying to be upsold to purchase new tires. This was the first time using this shop and they were extremely professional and helped me immediately and got me back on the road. I work just 10 minutes up the road have already recommended them to my friends and family. I will absolutely be a repeat customer.

My car unexpectedly died on me. I was 90 minutes from home and it was in the heat of the summer. I stopped in at the recommendation of an auto parts store and Felix helped me out. He was courteous, honest, and fixed me up in a timely manner. I had lunch across the street and my car had a new alternator by the time I got back! Clean waiting room and great prices.

They sold me a used tired a few months ago that was already damage. When I noticed the sold tired when flat the next day I took it back. It took close to an hour of uncessesary pleading with this individuals for them to do the right thing and replace the damage tire. Do not trust the quality and ethics of this shop. Be warned.

This is very good and very helpful if there is anything wrong with ur car take it to them let me tell you why you should take it to them 1. Awesome price that you cant find anywhere else 2. Nice and friendly staff 3. You will NOT find a place that treat you with respect and upfront and honest with you
