In January I interviewed with Brett Harris for a position at T. P. S. / Catapiller plant ( Seguin ). I was given a date and time to come in for a pre-employment physical and drug screen (1/26/12 wensday 730 a.m.). That date falls on a Thursday. Ramiro Barrientos (Aerotek rep) called and left confirmation message, I attempt to contact Brett Harris, Ramiro Barrientos and Victoria Reid and left messages on their voice mails . Victoria returns my call and I explain the dating error to her. She tells me that she has paperwork stating I was at my appointment , I took and passed the physical and drug screen. I explain several times that 1. I was NOT there , it was NOT me. and 2. the date is wrong. Victoria tells me she will call back in 30 minutes, 45 minutes later I call her back. After I call her no less than 3 times her best answer is, "I dont know and since Brett Harris wont be back till Monday,( my start date) lets wait till then." The next day I get another call from Ramiro Barrientos ( Aerotek rep). I tell him about the scheduling error. He states, "I will find out whats wrong and call you back." I never heard back from him. The Monday Brett Harris was supposed to be back I called and got his voice mail , left another detailed message and 3 weeks later I still have NOT gotten a response from him or any other Aerotek reps. After multiple attempts to salvage the situation and the apparent lack of interest on Aeroteks part I felt it was best to seek employment elsewhere. I needed a job, I wanted to work.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The jobs are good (If you can manage to get one with the lack of communication) but the Customer service with these people are Horrible. If ever you need assistance with Anything including but not limited to emails you arent receiving/having issues with, drug screen paperwork, etc. and you go asking Aerotek for help.. Good Luck. They will treat you like you are nothing but a paycheck. After advising Kimberly @ Aerotek that I accepted the job offer but DID NOT RECEIVE my Drug Screen/Background email with the forms (that had to be completed within 48 hours) yet..and asked for a name & number as to who I am to reach from here moving forward (Since I had recently got off the phone with her advising me Rudely, to start contacting the business directly) this is the response I got... "I am not sure since I am not with (company name here). But I can say that all my other applicants have been able to find all the information in the email. Is there not a link or anything to click on?" As if I was incompetent and did not know how to check an email and of course no response as to who I am supposed to be contacting. This was the kind of response I was getting via phone and email numerous times from Kimberly. I do NOT recommend anyone use Aerotek or at Least use someone who is Competent, if any. If this doesnt help then just look up the hundreds of other complaints about Aerotek via google search.

Aerotek San Antonio...WORST COMPANY that I have ever worked for. Contracts are not respected!! BE PREPARED to get a call any minute from your recruiter and being told to go home and not come back regardless of your contracts end date or your job performance. Recruiters are constantly being changed. If you have a problem and need to talk to someone more than likely you will get sent directly to voice mail and if you call back again.. the receptionists (obviously see your number on their caller ID) wont even bother to pick up the phone and greet you... you will sent you directly to voice mail time and time again. Not to mention trying to get your last paycheck!!! Now that will be an odyssey... and not just for me (it was for an entire group of people). Somehow the paychecks were "supposedly in the mail" but, be prepared to wait at least 3 weeks. Oh! Did I forget to mention ... if you choose to get paid through direct deposit? ... You wont always get paid on the on time and if you choose regular paychecks it is quite common for it to be lost in the mail. Overall! This company treats employees like furniture and not people, there is a total lack of care and service is horrible.

Before interview I was getting phone calls repeatedly around 7am to hurry and send them my resume and to make contact with them. However, after my in person interview they never called to update me on status as they said they would. They never replied to my emails nor phone calls in regards to my inquiries on status. In general this is just bad customer service in my opinion. I received no letter nothing to notify me that I wasnt selected. After months have gone by I have assumed this is the case. In any case, I am glad I didnt leave my current employer for a staffing temp agency that doesnt value its customer to at least have the professional courtesy to update them. I read the reviews where people say such and such kept me informed throughout process. I think this is a lie. Huge huge huge waste of my valuable time and energy. Never again! Thank you for helping me to make my decision by avoiding and not holding up to your part of the deal. Dont make promises or commitments that you know you cant keep.

After working with 10 difference recruiters for six week, getting positive feedback on my interviews, but no job offers, I went to see Quang Vu at Aerotek. I didnt have to wear a suit or take an Prove It! tests for my pre-screening interview. Vu listened to all my interview war stories & then he told me what he was hearing & seeing. It was not easy to take the "tough love" advise he offered, but it is what I needed. Finally, I had found someone who could be a real career counselor. Vu already had a company in mind for me & with his professional guidance I got the job. Not only did I get a job, but the perfect job for my skill set & experience. I have never been made to feel so welcome or appreciated in the first week at any other job. I feel less like a temp to hire & more like a welcome team member. Im looking forward to learning new skills & growing with in my new position. If you want someone to give it to straight, dont waste another minute on any other recruiter. Go see Vu!

STAY AWAY! I got the run around by a recruiter named Peter Bulloch who contacted me after I sent them a resume on some positions they had. He calls me and we talked on the phone about 15 minutes and tells me he has some positions Id fit and to come in and interview. I arrive and he wants me to fill out an application. I finish it then interview and he asks me about my previous employment which was CDL driving (a field notorious for a high turnover rate) and I explain it wasnt a fit for me and my family which was why I was switching focus to manufacturing/production and had gone to school for that. We get done and he says they get CDL positions from time to time and will let me know. I asked him about manufacturing and says they dont have any positions because they look for someone with longer time at jobs for those. This is something that could have been brought to my attention before wasting my time and gas to travel.
