Let me start with: I am innately opposed to the idea of renting storage space. I mean, isnt that what my house is for? However, we found ourselves in a situation where we needed some extra space for an unknown amount of time (adult child back home, too much stuff, yada, yada, yada). We rented a storage unit earlier this week from the DeZavala location since it is close to our home. We wanted something that gave us easy access to anything if we needed it quickly, a place that would keep it clean and safe, and a place that provided us with a feeling of safety while we were there. This is it! Weve been in and out 3 times in the past 2 days. Each time there were dollies quicky available, using the elevator was NOT a problem (hint: cheaper rates), and the process was a breeze. John, thanks for entertaining us while you showed us around and we filled out the paperwork. Our next door neighbor will be coming by soon to be your next customer.

Very Secure & Clean Climate Controlled Facility!! I had never rented storage space before so I really didnt know what to expect. I was very impressed with how clean and secure the facility was. I think it has definitely set the bar high. It was very convienent to move our stuff in and out, even with our unit being located on the second floor. On several occasions I had to move stuff in and out on my own, but it was easy with the nice carts available to use and the doorways that stay open long enough to push your stuff through without having to worry about the holding the door open. The staff was very friendly. Making payments each month was nice and easy from thier website and when the time came we didnt need the space anymore it was very simple and easy to cancel. No 30 or 60 day notice, just a simple call within the week. Thank you John and all the staff at Extra Space Storage!

I had a great experience with Extra Space storage on De Zavala. First of all, I had been driving the moving truck all day in order to get to the storage before they closed. I called John at Extra Space to see if there was anyway he could stay open 15 minutes later. To my surprise he stayed open a little later and gave me the best customer service I have ever experienced in my 29 years of existence. Not only did they stay open later for me but John went the extra mile and gave me a great tour through the facilities and made me feel that my household goods were in good hands. Moving can be very stressful at times, however this was the least stressful part of the process. I really appreciate everything John and his team have done for me and I couldnt ask for a more professional and helpful customer service. Top notch storage facility!

Exceptional. Ive used quite a few storage facilities in the past, but none as clean, secure as this one. Im a little bit anal-retentive, so I appreciate the cleanliness. Also, as a single female, I wanted to store my things in a place that I wasnt afraid to access after store hours and this fit the bill perfectly. Climate control was a must-have for me, and I was happy that my things werent affected by the weather. In addition, John--who manages this facility--is an incredibly nice, helpful person. Its a pleasure doing business with him. There were only a couple of issues that came up (not the fault of the facility) and he handled them with excellent customer service. For the quality of service, safety and cleanliness, I felt the price was right on the money. Highly recommend Extra Space on De Zavala!

I have never rented a storage unit before. I went in to the location and spoke with Abby who was very helpful in walking me through the process and showing me the facility. I reserved the unit ahead of time and locked in a very good price. I had a couple of questions and spoke with Shannon over the phone while my unit was reserved. He was very helpful and polite as well. Today I went in and paid for my storage unit and began my rental. Everything went very smoothly and I had my code and lock for my unit in no time. The facility is very clean and well lit and I think I am going to be very happy renting here. Abby and Shannon were both very helpful and I received terrific customer service through the whole process. I would highly recommend Extra Space Storage on De Zavala for your storage needs.

Would not recommend! Paid $94 monthly for the smallest unit. Never answered phone calls or returned voicemails. (I left more than 4 voicemails within a week). The front office lady closed office early knowing my mother was coming back to the office to speak with her regarding my move out information and what all I had to do. Spoke with my mom through the door and wouldnt open it and speak to her professionally. Awful awful experience. Would not recommend to anyone!!!! All they did was take my money monthly and never gave me any info regarding my monthly rate increasing every few months.

I wouldnt have thought to write a review for a storage facility, but leased here recently because of the reviews and, after the experience I had with the facility wanted to make sure I did my part to say thanks to Extra Space Storage for their impeccable customer service and attention to detail. It is rare to find some like John, the General Manager, with such passion for his work. All contact I have had with the facility has been courteous and prompt, with follow-up like Id expect at a fine hotel. Its pretty darn cool...

Great place to store your belongings! John and staff are very nice and friendly and helpful! I always come here when I need to store anything between moves. Its clean and I know my stuff is safe. So, use extra space for your storing needs. Im moving again, March 2016, and coming back to the best storage place for my moving needs. John is gone, but ABBY is making me feel at home and helping me greatly with all my moving needs. So, come by and see her and use Extra Space. Best place for all your moving. Thank you.

i rented a storage place at this facility and im not living in the area. All my experience with the storage place is only the best. Everything starts with the office personal, there are very helpful and going out of there ways to help there customers. The storage place is clean and well maintenanced. I am very very satisfied with this place. Thank you for beeing so customer oriented expecially the manager. If i have to give a rating it is above all expectations.

This storage facility is by far the best I have ever used. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and even helped me to check in while I was still on the move! The unit was very clean and, what was especially nice, climate controlled, even though there was an outdoor access point for the unit. I was able to store everything I had to move in to my 3 bedroom house in one of the units with some room to spare. Overall, a very excellent experience.
