For the first time, my husband and I ate here and tried the Smokehouse Beef and Cheddar Brisket (thanks to a client who recommended the place). After the first bite, I felt as though I was merging into a heavenly realm of bliss. The slightly crispy and soft, fresh baked bread was the perfect taste and thickness to the smoky, thinly sliced, savory brisket. The delicious bbq sauce wasnt too sweet, tangy or spicy, but was balance and harmony. Im usually not a fan of melted cheddar on my sandwiches, but it went very well with this one. In addition, the not too salty yet delicious pickle tasted home-made, and is hands down the best Ive had at any eatery. My first impression of their store appearance was very clean, organized, colorful, and well theme-decorated, especially the symbolic artwork on the wall. It looked like a painting of a cougar and white horse firemen facing one another in front of a firetruck---possibly representing inner-strength/courage and pure spirit/freedom, since it takes an unconditionally loving and courageous free-spirit to do what souls like firemen/firewomen do (Thank You All). Last but not least, the staff was very personable, professional and prompt, even greeting customers as they came inside. We love this place, not only for their great food, service and atmosphere, but for supporting such a great cause, and we will return for another WOW experience. ^_^
