The director of this academy is smug and rude. She talks about you in spanish quickly, despite the fact that I am white, I understood everything she said about me. She made no attempts to curb two hispanic children from throwing rocks at my nephew, saying that it was his fault because he was hitting them. If theres discontent, why didnt they separate them? My niece was not allowed to attend certain field trips, although I was required to pay the full cost of field trips every week. They had no problem charging me $11 for movie days but never communicated with us about anything else. My niece came home and cried because almost all the other kids went to a ball game but she had to stay in the baby room. She was upset that they frequently changed the dates of the set field trips or quickly changed the venues at the last minute. They refused to provide me a schedule until I demanded one, and even then it deviated greatly. I understand the reason that plans change, and sometimes changes cannot be helped, but there is a great lack of communication on the entire staffs part. I was told that one of the teachers consistently used my nephews blanket during naptime and requested he sleep next to another child. I had to wash it almost daily because she was so sick. I dont think a sick worker should be using blankets that a child brings - let alone require WE wash them. Im sick of providing wipes and pullups for the entire class. I once asked my nephew why he was missing a BRAND new pack of wipes - he told me that his teacher took them out of his backpack and put them in the baby room. I went to retrieve them and there were two wipes left. The straw that broke my back this time was having to pick my nephew up once with NOTHING on his bottom. I had told them that he was having stomach issues and requested they not attempt potty training, because he wasnt feeling well. They went through all 4 pairs of shorts (except for one pair, which was in his backpack). I asked the teacher why he had nothing on and she said he had too many accidents so he doesnt get to wear them now. I pointed out that he had more shorts, to which she said I was going to put him in them before you came to pick him up. Thats completely unacceptable. They could have put loan shorts on him (which I would have happily returned) or even called me to tell me he needed more clothing and we could have worked on a solution. Parents, this is a HORRIBLE daycare. The teachers (except for one or two) do not seem to care for any of the children and the director will only care if youre paying her. Save your money and go somewhere, ANYWHERE else. This is a terrible location.

I am extremely disappointed with having placed my children at La Petite on Marbach. The front office staff occasionally greet as you walk in, or smile. My son is 22 months I placed him on the Cuties Diaper program due to being misinformed that the fee was $10 a month. The fees kept saying they werent current, Id ask the staff to recheck, they said it was a problem with the system, turns out a month later i was billed as extra $30 because apparently i hadnt paid the ($40/monthly) Cuties in full. When I spoke with the director she was very rude and sarcastically stated its $10 A WEEK! My daughter is turning 4 in Sept, her teacher is very rude doesnt even say hi or acknowledge her arrival or depart from class. If we arrive within 10min of breakfast ending, i have to ask the front to feed her, because her teacher will not feed her willingly, send vey anxious to send them outside. She rolls her eyes and is full of attitude speaking with myself and my daughter. I see no sense of teaching it appears as if these woman are merely rude baby sitters.

My son has been kicked two separate times both staff (teachers & office) were notified was told that i would be taken care of the first time it had happened. after the first time he hasnt been given a daily report of his day or have we receive any incident report. now my son got kicked again and has a bruise and still they dont know anything. also my son has came home saying the the teacher was mean to him and a separate time he said they put him to sleep without his blanket and he was cold he said they couldnt find his backpack but when I picked him up he told the teacher in front of me "You see I told you i had my backpack and it was over here told you" but she just went on and didnt seem to care almost as if she was ignoring him. At first they will make it seem as if its a good day care and then when you are in they are all clueless of what to do. Also they want us to check in my kids even when they dont go i dont think thats right.

Immediately upon touring the school I knew I wanted my daughter to attend here. All the staff is friendly when you enter and exit the building they acknowledge and greet you. It is an educational environment my daughter is always coming home with singing a new song and her art projects are all over the classroom hanging up for display. They take pictures (with parental consent) of activities and send them home so you can see them participating in activities throughout the day. They provide breakfast lunch and snack and have a playground weather permitting take the children outside to play. They have really helped my daughter transition from a bottle to cup and learn to follow instructions. Everything is so structured meaning they have a specific time for nap, eating, free play, outside time, reading ect.

Weve had a great experience at La Petite thanks to Miss Naomi. She is very professional and attentive to her class as she calls them (Miss Noamis friends) love it! She cares a lot about making it very welcoming and inviting to both chidren and parents. I truly get the feeling that she loves my son, since he has been in her Pre-K class Ive seen such an improvement in him. I am able to talk with her about concerns I have and she helps guide me through ways to improve something, she also noticed my son was a hand switcher and went out of her way to get supplies to accomadte him, that showed me how passionate she is about her job. She loves what she does. Choosing a daycare is a hard choice, I am glad Miss Noami has put that at ease for me. We love La Petite and Miss Noami!!

I love this daycare!!! and so did my son for almost 4 years he attended every day, all day. The directors and teachers are all very respectful and consistent. The provide positive reinforcement to the children when needed and always have fun events and activities planned for all the age groups. I can honestly say I have not had even one bad experience with this daycare at all. My daughter even attended during the summer and they had field trips and events planned each week to keep the older kids entertained. If I needed afterschool care in the future, I wouldnt hesitate to go back!!! The brite family
