Dont let the outside appearance fool you. This was my first visit, and the dusty and rocky parking lot was barren with no sign of life except for the "Open" sign hanging from the dirty window. I wasnt quite sure whether or not to proceed. This place averages about 4.9 star reviews, and its supposed to be open but there are no cars in the lot. I finally just went in, and was greeted by a lonely lad waiting for someone for him to offer his services. Joe did a great job blending and fading the sides. He couldve been a little slower and gentler with the razor (this is just feedback, not a complaint), but the end product was very clean, concise, and exactly what I was looking for. I was only in there for about 15 minutes too, which was great considering Great Clips usually takes that long and they do not get the fade or blend looking so clean. Joe is friendly, courteous, and skillful and Ill be visiting again soon.

Dropped my girl off at work, not very familiar with that side of town, asked Siri nearest barbershop and Pound4Pound came up. Very picky with who cuts my hair. Checked out the spot and was very pleased. Real down to earth guy and even cut my hair first and then let me pay him, didnt have cash on me. Half what I pay at Diesels Barbershop and to be honest better quality haircut!! Certified barber that actually uses straight razor!! I live in the North side of town and recommend anyone whose looking for a tight cut. Worth the drive!!

A few weeks ago I went and stopped at Pound4Pound for a haircut. This is the first time I have ever been to a non franchised barber shop and the experience was amazing. Just one on one conversation without the awkward silence and to be honest the best haircut I have ever gotten. I left feeling like a brand new person. I would highly recommend this place and this will now be my only stop for a haircut!

Was just opening up didnt know he did not take card but was cool enough to cut my 5 year old sons hair and my hair then let us go get the money. He is a very nice and honest guy that gives awesome fades also was Very respectful not like these other barbershops where you walk in and they are on their cell cursing or just smack talking customers.... Definitely recommend found my new spot thanks

I was extremely impressed with my haircut from Derek. He runs the shop alone and takes pride in his business and service. This is a far cry from the chain or other large barbershops where you wonder who is going to cut it, and what you are going to look like when you walk out. I only wish that I had started going to his shop a few months ago when I first noticed it. Highly Recommended!

Im from Chicago and its difficult to find someone to give you a hair cut on vacation. It may be a small shop but man is the Derek good at cutting hair! Got a hair cut just as if I was back home. When ever I come back to San Antonio and need a cut Im definitely going back here!

Theres only one barber here but Derek is all you need and more. Hes friendly and professional not to mention that he gives a mean haircut. For $16.00, its a bargain because I cant recall the last time Ive had a cut this fresh! Give Derek a try and youll be looking fly!
