If you use them, be sure to get additional quotes. We had several minor plumbing issues (a running toilet, and leaking garbage disposal ), and We Fix It came in to look at them. The first thing they did was look at our water softener, and upon visual inspection, they told us that it was too small for the house. They believed that it wasnt doing an efficient job removing the hard minerals from the house water, and that a build up of these minerals was likely causing the problems in the toilet and disposal. After a quick visual inspection of both, they confirmed the diagnosis. They also inspected our hot water tanks, one of which was leaking. We were told that the tanks dated back to 1999 and both needed to be replaced along with some code upgrades (hmmm...the home was built in 2003 which i told the plumber, but he stuck to his date of 1999). Finally they said our water pressure was at 85 and code required it to be 80, so we would need a new pressure gauge. They recommended replacing the water softener, toilet, disposal, both heating tanks, and the pressure gauge, and quoted us $8200.00. Several things made me question their diagnosis, so I declined and had another service come in. The first thing THEY did was run an actual chemical analysis of our water. The results showed that we had ZERO hardness in our water. They said that the softener was indeed a little small to be optimal, but that it was functioning perfectly and removing all the hard minerals it was supposed to. Next they showed us pictures of what mineral build up looks like on toilets and disposals, and there was only minimal build up in the toilet and none in the disposal. They showed us a warped piece of metal in the toilet that was causing it to run, and a crack in the disposal from heavy use. They had no problem locating the date of 2003 on the water tanks, unlike We Fix It who continued to try to tell us they were from 1999. One tank did need to be replaced but the other was fine, and we were told the it could still last for years. As to the pressure gauge, the new company explained that the code requires the pressure to be at 80 or less when the home is built, but that it naturally goes up as the neighborhood grows and there is no code requiring it to be modified from 85 to 80. They said 85 was really no big deal, as some neighborhoods in San Antonio run as high as 130. They replaced the disposal, repaired the toilet, and the leaky hot water tank for $2000. After a week, everything is running perfectly. So We Fix It misdiagnosed the problems, and quoted us a repair price that was 4 times as high as it needed to be to fix the problem. I would not allow them into my home again. If you do, I recommend you dont buy into their high pressure sales, until you have had a 2nd opinion.

Just wanted to update my post as of 10/24/16. Carlo Alvarez came out to winterize the Lenox ac heatpump unit. Showed up on time, answered all my questions, was quick but thorough, very courteous and professional. thanks willfixit for calling and reminding me to service the unit. We called WILLFIXIT to come out because our upstairs air conditioning unit wasnt working and eventually the downstairs unit froze up. They sent Felipe Z. out to check out the TRANE systems and give us a free estimate. We thought maybe the units just needed some refrigerant. Felipe spent several hours checking the upstairs and downstairs air conditioning units both inside and outside. The outside unit for upstairs had a burnt wire from an electrical surge, and the downstairs unit had overworked and frozen. Both units were low on refrigerant so he ran a leak check on both units and they discovered the "coils" were bad on both units. Fortunately, one of the TRANE units was still under warranty. Felipe gave me several repair options to consider but recommended replacing the 10 year old TRANE system with the bad coil. He called Oscar M. to come and discuss price options for replacing the unit. Oscar M. at WILLFIXIT was great to work with. He went over the details and costs to replace the system; offered financing solutions if needed. He even spent an hour on the phone contacting the people at TRANE to get approval for WILLFIXIT to repair the coil on the other TRANE unit. He even explained everything to my wife over the phone and answered all her questions. Overall, I was very happy with the support Oscar provided and by everyone at WILLFIXIT. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. David Z. and Mario P. did an outstanding job installing our new Lenox 3 ton 15 SEER heatpump and air handler. They were very detail oriented through the removal/installation process. They wore booties on their shoes, put down carpet on the wood floors, and protectors on the carpets. David and Mario were very careful removing the old TRANE system from the attic and installing the new Lenox air handler. They also replaced the slab for the outside Lenox unit and the supporting electrical box. Basically, they took care of all the little details to make sure the systems runs great. They got to our house around 2:00 pm and worked straight thru until 7:00pm. They took the time to show us how to use the programmable thermostat. They also did a thorough job of cleaning up after the job was complete and the paper work was finished. I would definitely recommend David Z. and Mario P. at WILLFIXIT for HVAC projects. PS also a big thanks to Mischleane for taking care of scheduling in general and specifically scheduling the Cibolo inspector for me...definitely service above and beyond.

The technician Kenney Freabe was amazing. His professionalism, skill, and knowledge were outstanding as multiple challenges were encountered during the installation of my new sink and garbage disposal. The new sink was the exact same width and length as my previous sink but the new sink is granite and is 5 inches deeper and a different shape inside than the old stainless steel sink. First of all the new sink would not fit in the opening and Kenney had to cut away board and counter top to accommodate the new sink. Then as he was putting the sink in the opening the corner of the sink cracked and this was strange because he was very gentle with the new sink as I was watching the entire time. A granite sink should not crack that easily with such little impact. Clearly the sink was defective, but instead of making excuses Kenney was prepared to take full responsibility and called his boss. As he was calling his boss I looked at the paperwork and noticed that I had a lifetime warranty on the sink with full replacement by home depot within the first 30 days. I informed Kenney this and he took everything off the sink and went with me to return the sink to home depot. Thanks to his input Home Depot replaced the sink and then he followed me back to my house and continued with the install. After he got the sink in and the garbage disposal installed he noticed that the drain for the sink was directly over the opening of the pipe coming out of the wall. He cut the pipe several times and added multiple 90 degree angles to get the garbage disposal and sink connected to the wall IAW the proper code. He spent 8 hours at my house fighting with my sink to ensure I would be able to enjoy my new sink without having to take more time off of work. He even had another job to go to after he finished mine and he did not finish until 7PM. My sink works great and his craftsmanship is above reproach and the he took extra time to make sure everything looked impeccable. In addition, what makes Kenneys effort so extraordinary is I had a previous technician (cant remember his name) come out 2 days before Kenney to install the sink and this technician took one look at the job and told me he did not have the right hole saw bit and that I would have to reschedule. Kenney did not even use a hole saw he punched the pre-set holes out with a hole punch and hammer. It took him about 15 minutes. Kenney did not shy away from the challenge and I am very thankful for his integrity and dedication to serving the customer. Best choice ever and next time I go through Will Fix It for any plumbing I will request Kenney by name.
