When you live in San Antonio, you need some type of water refining system. Our first attempt was getting a system from a company that was out of business in less than a year. Getting filters or service was impossible. We struggled with that for 6 years before the system finally gave out. After deciding to do a complete replacement we did much research and decided that Kinetico was the system we wanted. I emailed them for a quote and they got back to me by phone right away. We had a sales guy (Jeremy) come out and explain their product line that would best meet our needs. After a water test revealed that our current water refining system had totally stopped working, we made our choice. They were back to install within a couple of days. The install went very smoothly. The old system was removed and carted away. The installer was very thorough in going over the parts of the new system and how to maintain the few things that need attention. Ever since the water quality has been outstanding. The significant benefits of a Kinetico system are these: no computer head on the system to determine when to regenerate - its all done with mechanical metering of water - resulting in considerably fewer times of regeneration and brine tank use. This also means we not using as much salt. The system is significantly more compact and quieter than the previous one, too. We also had the under kitchen sink RO system installed for water that we drink and cook with. This RO system is more compact, easier for filter changes, much better continuous flow of water from the RO spigot. If youre considering a new install or changing from an old system thats not working - give these folks a call. I highly recommend them!

I researched water softener companies for months before deciding on Kinetico. Ill never forget the gentleman that came out to talk to me about their products after I called them. I already knew how great the company and water softener were and I just wanted to talk about numbers/install details and he was incredibly kind and respectful. The first time I took a bath I can only describe the water as feeling like silk. I didnt have the problem of feeling like I couldnt wash off all the soap like some soft water can cause. This house had terrible hard water buildup before in the toilets, around the drains, and around all faucets. I havent had to deal with that since the install. No water spots on the dishes, the clothes come out slightly fresher/cleaner, and I have saved money on soap because a little goes a long way. The external water lines they set up (so I am not watering the garden with soft water) have held up incredibly well and you would never know they werent original to the house. The water filter at my sink is unbelievably convenient and not hard to change out (dont pay for a service call just do it yourself!). I did have to youtube it the first time. Finally, the staff at Kinetico in San Antonio is wonderful as are all their service personnel that I have thus far met. There are so many companies out there and I am sure there are some other good products but you cannot compare when every single person that works there goes out of their way to help you. They obviously love their work and are proud to treat customers like family so they will have my business for life.

I rarely write reviews but wanted to take the time to express my appreciation for the excellent service We received from Kineticos John and David recently. In trying to determine why we had no water pressure to our house, we had to start with a process of elimination to determine where the problem was. After dealing with the well folks, and a plumber, with no diagnosis, Kinetico was next on the list. When John and David came out, it took them about 2 minutes to determine that someone had plumbed all our systems (well, rainwater catchment, whole house filters, etc) backwards and that had caused a filter to detererate. The bad news was we needed a new Kinetico water softener! They made the whole thing as painless as it possibly can be when receiving that kind of news...in fact they corrected all the plumbing so no damage would occur to the Kinetico system and so we wouldnt have to call another plumber! And heres the kicker...this was supposed to be a routine call just to eliminate their system from causing the problem and they had worked us in since we had no water! So folks, if your Kinetico service team is running late sometimes, please know its because theyre taking care of some hapless soul like me! THANKS, Kinetico team! We be not had a lick of trouble since then and really appreciate you!

During the first several weeks in my recently purchased home in San Antonio, I noticed that everything coming out of the dishwasher was covered in a nasty white film. All of the faucets also had this white chalky film as well. Knowing that it was a hard water problem, I began to research water softener solutions. Kinetico was one of the companies that I called. They had a water specialist out to my house the very next day and they had intelligent answers to every question I had about my water. They let me know that all electrically powered single tank systems function the very same way. To make this short, I would suggest all of you who read this to do your research and contact Kinetico. What they have to offer is a very high quality solution to hard water and unpleasant tasting water. I am very pleased with my non-electric powered double tank softener and whole house water filter. My glasses and dishes have returned to sparkling clean - no more nasty chalky film! And most importantly, my water is very pleasant tasting now - its great to be able to enjoy drinking water right out of the tap.

This was by far the fastest and best experience Ive have had with a company in many years. I called up on Monday morning and explained my old filter/softener was out and could someone come out and give me some info on Kinetico systems. Matt came out on Tuesday and was really knowledgeable about explaining how the Kinetico system worked. He answered all our questions and we decided to make the purchase. On Thursday we had a new whole house filter and water softener installed!! David was the installer and even though he was training a new installer he took the time to explain how the system was being hooked up and how it worked. They were very professional and cleaned up when they were done. I would highly recommend Kinetico San Antonio because they really put pleasing the customer first. I only wish that I would have contacted them years ago!! We are so impressed with the immediate change in the quality of the water over our old system... in fact there is NO comparison!! We are so happy we chose a Kinetico System! Thank you for having a great system and excellent customer service!

We LOVE LOVE LOVE our Kinetico. My wife and I finally purchased a Kinetico last month after years and years of putting it off. After seeing our dishwasher break due to hard water – we decided we better pull the trigger and purchase a water softener. We called Kinetco and the rest is history. Now we can’t imagine life without it. My youngest son has a mild case of eczema and our hard water is San Antonio aggravates it. Now with our Kinetico – his skin looks and feels awesome. The reverse osmosis system is incredible and we’ve notice we actually drink MORE water. My wife is a water snob and used to by tons of bottle water. Now she prefers our Kinetio water and says it tastes better. I did my research and have heard all the pros and cons for every brand of softeners on the market. People that I know and trust own a Kinetico. They are better built and use ZERO electricity. My wife and I feel we have the best of the best in water softeners. The owner Chris Knippa gave us some cool Kinetico water bottles too…we use them every day!
