I called my home warranty company on Thursday to let them know that my toilet needed repair (it slid off its base). They assigned Zeus Plumbing to come to my home and they told me that it would be Monday but that someone from Zeus Plumbing would call me on Friday to schedule. Ive had Zeus Plumbing come out to my home before to fix my garbage disposal and a running toilet, and the service was fine, the technicians were friendly. However, this time it was a complete 180°. Zeus called me on Friday and left a voice mail that I was the 3rd appointment for Monday and that it normally means late morning or early afternoon. By the time I got this call it was too late for me to call back and say that it needed to be early afternoon because my mothers hospice nurses come out in the morning and I have a toddler that naps from 11 am to noon. On Monday, the technician called me at 11:15 am to tell me that he could be at my home in thirty minutes and he asked if that would be okay. I told him no and asked if he could come after noon. He said he would let the office know and that he would be back later in the afternoon. So time went by and the technician did not call back, so around 4:30 I called the office and let them know what had happened and the person who answered asked me for my home address and then told me that the technician had one more appointment and then he would be out to my house. No one ever called or showed up. Tuesday morning I called Zeus plumbing at 9 am and told them the story. The woman who answered put me on hold. Person #2 picked up the phone line and asked how she could help. I told her that someone else was already helping me and had put me on hold. She said she knew that and asked how she could help to which I replied, "So I have to repeat the whole story? She said, "hold on" and put me on hold. The first person came back to the phone and said, "Our technician did go out to your house." I said, "No, maam, he did not." and she said, "He says he did." and I raised my voice and said, "No he did not!" Then she says, "Hold on." and then another person (possibly the #2 person from before) picks up the phone and says, "Hello?" and I say, "Im on hold with someone else." and she says, "Well, they said you asked for a manager and Im a manager." I say, "No, I didnt ask for a manager." She says, "Well, she told me what happened and our tech did go out to your house. You refused the service because your baby was napping. You forfeited your spot. Ill have to call your home warranty company back and let them know to get you back on the schedule. Theres a $50 trip fee." I say, "He was never at my house." She says, "I have a picture of him standing in front of your house." I say, "Thats insane. Why would he drive all the way out here to take a picture of himself in front of our house after he said he would be back that afternoon? Also, he never said I was forfeiting my spot and neither did the office person who I spoke to yesterday at 4:30." She said, "He did tell you." And I said, "Were you sitting in the van with him when he called me, how do you know what he said to me?" and she said, "Well, I know what theyve been told to say. Maam, Im trying to help you." and I said, "No, youre just defending your technician. This has been a terrible customer service experience. One, who ever takes a phone call in your office should own that phone call and not pass them off to others forcing the customer to repeat the story. The staff person should provide all pertinent detail to the person they are handing off to. Second, you are not solving my issue. You are simply defending your technician. Your just a manager there, right? You arent the owner. So you dont really have a dog in his hunt. Whether or not Im taken care of doesnt really matter to you, but I bet it matters to the owner if he cares about keeping a loyal customer."

I am giving this company a 5 star review. If there were 10 stars available I would definitely give 10. We are building a new home and our plumber left us at the beginning of February and never returned. We tried calling our old plumber and he wouldnt answer our phone calls. He left us, took our down payment and the job looked impossible. Our house was supposed to have been completed by May. I am pregnant and we were hoping to move in before I had our baby. We accepted that it isnt going to happen. We called other plumbers but no one would take the job because they didnt want to start on a project that had already been started on. Other companies would walk the house and complain about everything they would have to do and re-do. One company told us he would start two weeks ago, but he never showed up and never returned our calls. Needless to say, I was in panic mode. I thought we were never going to find anyone to help us finish the plumbing. Finally, after months of stress and our house sitting without movement my husband called Zeus plumbing. Nice lady answered, we explained the situation and she made sure to set up an appointment for us right away. We met with Fred and he made me feel at ease. He was on time, and courteous. I was expecting the usual complaining I received from previous contractors. Fred did no such thing. He walked the house and immediately began describing his plan of attack for our home. He is working on the interior plumbing and gas, as well as, the trenching outside for the hookups to the house. He understood the stress we were under. Mind you, that I am already skeptic of contractors because of the building process on our home and our dissappointment with our previous "so called professional plumber". Fred assured me the job would get done and done right. He said he was going to work on the house as if it was his own house. He promised me that his team would start the following day and to my dismay they actually showed up. After almost two months of worrying and crying, Zeus Plumbing finally answered the call and is helping us out. He told us not to worry, he was going to handle everything on the plumbing for us. I havent slept a full night since February because of the worrying. I can actually sleep now. I cant thank Zeus Plumbing enough for the professionalism and for taking on work that I know is a challenge. I feel 5 stars isnt enough for them.

I love how the owner takes the time to be defensive and respond to true criticism. I recently had my water heater go out and needed it replaced. Zeus plumbing was recommended to me by my home warranty. Which by the way, I will be calling them to let them know all customers have been unhappy, just look at their google rating. First of all, my window of time was 8-10am. Their employee did not show up until 12pm! My dad had to call in to work because of this. Second, when the "plumber" got there, he stopped only to say his van got broken into the "night before" and so he had NOTHING on him to do the work at which he then leaves and does not return until about 2pm. Last, my dad was talking to him and the employee admitted to my father he was NOT a licensed plumber! He was simple an apprentice and SHOULD have been working under the license plumber. He used the licensed plumber he was working under (who was not present the entire time) but that was it. He left a mess in my garage and apparently left a "tool" in my garage and called me at 9pm at night to leave it on the porch. There were no tools or tool left in my garage, as both I and my dad checked. He was probably so unorganized that God knows where he left it. I am part of a neighborhood network online and advised all the surrounding subdivisions not to use this company. Although there are only 7 reviews here on google and the owner seems to have an answer for every one of these complaints, I received MORE complaints from my surrounding neighbors on how they were COMPLETELY dissatisfied with this company. So just know there are more unhappy customers. Instead of being on the defensive, fix the problems. Be proactive.
