Listen to this horrible story before going to Mink! My roommate went here with a $150 giftcard, to get a dye and cut. She walked in with reddish/brown long hair. The sylist, a young guy, tried to dye her hair blonde.....oh no. Her hair came out with BLEACH blonde roots, and the rest was BRIGHT orange. When she put her hair in a pony tail, there was a clear definition of the color difference. He had to dye her eyebrows 3 seperate times before getting it remotely natural looking. The first time they turned WHITE, the second time, he forgot to dye half of one eyebrow. When my roommate went to Tony and Guy to fix it, they said they had never seen a worse dye job, and had to cut off 5 inches to fix the haircut he gave her. BEWARE!!!!

I went to Mink Salon for eyelash extensions with Lara Herdeman and let me say, shes amazing! I showed Lara a picture of what I wanted my eyelashes to look and she replicated the look so beautifully! She really customized the look to my eyes and lashes. May I say I look like a celebrity now? Mink Salon has a comfortable room where eyelash extensions are done.Lara asked me what look I was going for, the types of cleansers I use on my face, so on, to assess which type of lashes to use! She does her craft with perfection. The eyelashes feel lightweight and will not damage your natural lashes. I highly recommend Lara and her attention to detail!

Eric is a genius. Needed a haircut and a beard trim and he went beyond my expectations! He was patient with me when I asked him to do a little more when trimming my beard, something Im very proud of, but he took excellent care of it! The receptionist was warm, took great care of us, we got complimentary drinks, and ALL of this at an extremely reasonable price! They have a returning customer in me, no more driving to New Braunfels for a haircut!

Zeb Matthews is the best stylist I have ever had. Ive had long hair my whole life and Im always wary about getting layers, because bad layers look like a mullet. Somthing about Zebs cofidence in his craft made me go for it, and I am so glad I did. My hair has never looked better. my experience was positive from the second I walked through the door, reception was friendly and propt, Zeb was awsome as stated above, and you cant beat the price.

I had a great experience here! Romeo, my stylist, laced me up just right. He was very attentive, friendly, patient and professional. He took his time and made sure I was happy with my new cut. This is my new spot. I will definitely be back! Had another great experience at Mink! Emily Galvan, my new stylist, fully delivered. I got exactly what I wanted. Great service, staff and ambiance. Highly recommend.

Corey has been cutting and highlighting my hair for the last year and he is awesome. My old stylist moved too far away and I hesitated to change to a new one but right from the first time onward he has done a fantastic job. I get a lot of compliments over my hair. The staff at Salon Mink are all very warm and friendly, and the furnishings are very hip.

I went in on a whim because I needed my eyebrows waxed and Rachelle fit me in her schedule as a walk in. She is amazing! She takes so much time and effort to really look at your brows and figure out what suits you best! Words cant say how much I love her! I also go to Brittany to get my hair cut and always does an awesome job!

Ive been looking for a great salon since moving here and I found it at Salon Mink! Everyone was so friendly and sweet. I had Emily and she did an AMAZING job. She was very patient with me while I took time to explain to her what I was thinking of doing and she executed it perfectly. I highly suggest going here :)

Joi is AM-A-ZING with hair!!! I came to her after a barbeque grill accident several years ago and after she got done with my very sad, very barbequed hair, you could not even tell I had burned half of it off!!!! I LOVE HER and would have never used anyone since. She always makes me look and feel beautiful!!! =)

Mink is so cute; definitely the hippest salon in San Marcos and Corey is literally the best hair stylist Ive ever had! He has never given me a bad haircut and Ive recommended him to all my friends. Ill be moving to Houston soon and I plan to come back to get my haircut...hes just that good!

Sarah saved me! I had a terrible experience at another salon and she scooped me up last minute, did me a huge favor and took the time to ask what I wanted and put care into her work. I went from a terrible color job to a beautiful blonde. Definitely go to her!

I would like to say that the person who answered my call to help, was not helpful, rude, and ruined my experience at this salon. I have been going to mink for over a year and used brittany as a stylist. I am so unhappy that I will not be returning.

Love it. Ray is the owner and founder and he cuts and styles my hair. It was a long time since I had a hair cut I enjoyed and I really enjoyed it. My family was in town for a wedding and I received multiple compliments.

DONT EVER GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE! Distrustful stylist I asked to go blonde and got this disgusting brassy color with large gaps in between foils. OVERPRICED FOR AMATEUR WORK! SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!
