I will never visit the salon at Ulta in Texas or any other state again. They do not disclose that they are scheduling you with more expensive stylists that do not follow the pricing online or what is advertised in the store. I arrived 10 minutes early to my appointment only to have to wait 50 minutes past my scheduled time. I was placed in a disgusting chair and area that was not cleaned and looked like it had never been cleaned. This should have pushed me to leave, but I stayed. I talked briefly with the stylist who I learned had only been graduated for over a year and she barely asked what I wanted to do with my hair color. My price was raised from around $100 to $218; I have been getting my hair done the same way for 8 years, have gone to many different salons, and NEVER paid over $150. Again, I should have left, but after wasting an hour and half of my day just trying to get started and I was leaving on vacation in 2 days I had no option but to continue. Entering the salon I was a blonde with very low brown highlights... I emerged 5 hours later with dark brown ash hair and black highlights. I was so shocked and mad I couldnt speak. I left ULTA and will NEVER STEP FOOT in there again. I will even go somewhere else to buy products. My sister in law in Utah had a similar experience 2 months ago; needless to say our family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers will never shop at ULTA.

Was very disappointed today with one of your sales associates. While talking to a man about having tried the lancome 24 hour foundation and not loving it, this other girl(dont know her name) chimed in asking what I didnt like about it and saying that it was her favorite and didnt make sense that I didnt like it, making faces at me like I was stupid while I told her what I hadnt like. Then pops off to the guy "Well I guess show her the urban decay that oxidized and looks like a thick cake on you face, if your in to that sort of thing(rolling her eyes and walking away)" she must of be one of the lancome girls. Which, honey, I saw your makeup and I wasnt very impressed. News flash not every make up works on every person. And something that is great on one person may be terrible on someone else. Just came off very rude! BUT the young man (brown hair and glasses) that helped me from there was very nice and seemed like he genuinely wanted to help. That is the only reason Ive gave 3 stars cuz the first girl almost ruined this store for me!

Crystal is the rudest person I have ever encountered in retail. At least I think her name was Crystal, thats the name on my receipt. When I said I didnt want to sign up for the rewards program, she rolled her eyes at me. She was very rough with the products I was purchasing, practically threw them in the bag. My girlfriend was standing behind me and not buying anything; when Crystal was done she called her "sweetheart" as she handed me the bag, she didnt say anything like "have a nice day" or "thanks for coming in" to me. Clearly trying to let me know she was not happy about me, if her body language wasnt shouting that already. I dont know what I did to set her off, I was the ideal customer. I had my payment ready, I didnt try to haggle or dispute prices, I was polite. It upset me enough that Im still thinking about it the next day, enough to get on here and write a review. Everyone else was nice and helpful, 5 stars to everything thats not Crystal!

I love beauty products and make up just as much as any girly girl... but I honestly hate going to Ulta. I have gift cards... but Ive debated on using them online just so I dont have to deal with snobbery. Snobby little girls talking to each other and barely acknowledging the customers. I once went in with a $5 coupon... get to the register.. "Im sorry, it doesnt work on THAT side of the store".... are you freaking kidding me? Uugghh.

Very poor signage for sales and horrible checkout personal. When I requested the free item with purchase, I was simply told "Out" by the cashier. When I asked for the manager, I was barked at...."Why?!" The manager went in the back to give me "something" and then had me wait. Not good, Ultra. Im thinking you need to get them some training..... Oh, btw, name of cashier is Crystal.

9/3/16 rude rude rude. Stood in line for over 30 mins ("low on workers" excuse~) only to be told a snobby Smart Alec answer to a super simple question about my birthday gift. This is not the first time Ive had horrible customer service at this location. I left the store empty handed and will not return. SEPHORA here I come!

Horrible personal if your not white they dont help you out much when going to check out if your suppose to get a free gift they never tell you. You have to ask for it amd if you ask for it their very rude. I spend lots of money in that store and i shouldnt be treated that way.

I really like Ulta; Id LOVE Ulta, but the service here is hit or miss. They have higher end makeup and drugstore makeup as well as skin care products, hair products, styling tools. They also have a salon which I have witnessed my sisters use and they had great service.

absolutely HORRIBLE costumer service. No one ask me if I needed help they were under staffed, when I asked for help they made me wait for 20 minutes. The women wasnt helpful when I asked to be match for foundation she just caked on some foundation and hurried away.

The ladies were so nice. Since it is my birthday month I told them if I will receive a birthday gift. Young lady told me ULTA will send me an email for a free eyeshadow. She was very sweet and even wrote the customer service number just in case I didnt receive it.

Staff is very rude regardless of which which Ulta I go to. I would assume that if you work at a specialty store you would have some knowledge of the products that are being sold. (Or at least where they are located in the store) I got what I needed and left.

Purchased a few things in here for my wife and the staff was always there to answer any questions I had. At check out, it was quick and they always reminded me to pull up the coupon online.
