Id just like to echo the other review for this location. I showed up for the $100 full brake replacement and adjustment. They called me from the shop and said I needed a bunch of other services and parts replaced ($400). I told them I wanted a second opinion from another shop, and they acted like I was insane for not just having them do the service, because they had already disassembled the brakes. I assured them I wanted another opinion and asked them to please put my brakes back together. As I left the shop, the attendant warned me Id regret it and be back in 6 months. I took my car to Kwik Kar with the full report from Just Brakes, and paid $40 to have them take a look. The manager showed me all the parts, explained what they do, and assured me that everything was working great and I had no need to replace any of the other hardware. Sounds like Just Brakes makes their money from selling additional services when you go in for the advertised $100 brake replacement. Beware of them overselling unneeded services. Always get a second opinion!

We took our car to the Just Brakes in Wylie yesterday, Oct. 4, 2008. They proceeded to tell us that we needed a multitude of parts replaced. The estimate they gave us was almost $700.00.(Over $700.00 with tax) I told them to put everything back together. We then went to a place called J&G Tires in Wylie where I had purchased tires before. These guys had seemed honest when dealing with them in the past, so I thougt they may know somewhere we could take our car and get an honest estimate for a brake job. They said that they did brakes there, but we would have to get the parts ourselves. After they looked at the front and rear brakes, not only did Just Brakes lie about parts that they said needed replaced, we did not even need the rear brakes replaced at all. We then went to Auto Zone and bought front pads and two rotors. Total cost of parts and labor was less than $200.00. Do not go to Just Brakes! I do not know how those guys can sleep at night knowing that they lie and scam people out of their hard earned money.

One of the biggest scams in Wylie!!! My fiance took our truck here because our family mechanic was out of town. They pulled him in with their "free estimate" and proceeded to up-sell him in every possible way. Not only did they try to charge him $400 dollars for his supposed "problem", they also LIED about what was wrong with the truck. I wouldnt suggest this place to my worst enemy. Most of the high reviews even mention how they found so many hidden "problems" which I translate to more money. When the "mechanics" saw that we were backing out they dropped the price $100, offered a credit card with no interest and eventually walked off on us. Turns out we were about to pay $400 for a $10 dollar problem. NEVER GO HERE.

Took my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 in for brakes and, while we were looking at the brakes I discovered an upper control arm bushing that was shot. We also found an outer tie rod that was bad. The guys took care of it and even worked with me on the price to help me out with the unexpected expense. I normally do my own brakes and can even change tie rods, but a recent surgery was preventing me from doing it myself, so I didnt have a choice but to take it somewhere. Glad I chose Just Brakes! Really great service and really nice guys. I cant speak highly enough of them.

Gabby at the front was awesome! Best customer service. From the time we called to check availability till we walked out the door. She made sure we were taken 100% care of and made everything so convenient for us. They saved our rotors, fixed ours brakes, and informed and showed us some wear and tear that will need to be addressed in the future soon but absolutely did not push us so that they could make an extra buck. They were the best! Hands down! We will be back and will be telling everyone how awesome they are!

Charged me for synthetic oil and filter but didnt replace anything. 3 months later I checked to do my own oil change and the previously installed genuine Toyota filter from dealer was still there and even the oil was so dirty that I doubt that even that was replaced. I also called to confirm that there is no way they can get original dealer provided oil filters. Cheats! Not going back again ever! Looks like others got scammed around same time around November 2015.

Brakes went out in my van and i took it to just brakes. The guys working there were very helpfull showing me exactly what was wrong with my brakes and how they were going to fix them. Dropped the van of in the morning and it was ready that afternoon. I paid by cc over the phone and picked it up the next day. a month later they even called to make sure everything was still ok. Great customer service and great job done! i will use them from now on.

I just had a rear realignment. Took about 30 minutes and cost $50. The men were helpful to me and said I should probably fix my a/c belt too, but didnt try to up sell me or anything. Four stars because they didnt tell me how long the diagnosis was going to take, and I though the price was a little much. Other than it was good. (Even had lots of free coffee.)

I love this Just Brakes! No matter what time it is, they always have time to look at my problem and give me an estimate. I have had a lot of work done by these nice guys. Honest, trustworthy, and dependable. I was also amazed at how clean the garage was!! Keep up the good work guys! I will continue to send friends your way.

Lied about the state of my pads and rotors when they supposedly replaced both eight months earlier. Went to another shop to find out the rotors were brand new but pads were never replaced. Just Brakes wanted $850 when I paid $150 for new pads elsewhere. Still good 5 months later. Dont get scammed!

Thanks for all star treatment. I went in after a different estimate from another servicer and was shown that those issues did not exist. The new manager is a keeper! He will give you accurate info and a fair deal. Just Brakes is definitely cheaper than anywhere else.

I had my brakes done and year later I wanted them to check on my brakes again because they were squeaking, they gave me no issues about my warranty and checked everything for me and now my brakes work great. The service was fast and satisfactory.

Those guys are awesome! I wish I remember the name of the guy who gave me a great service. He fixed my flat tire in no time without charging me a penny! Im impressed with the fast customer service they have provided. I will recommend this place!

Great staff....work is always great, Ive never had to return due to improper install on brakes or pads. Theyve have done work on my Infiniti and Lexus. When it comes to brakes, this is the place to go. Great job Jason & Gerald.
