Quick Oil Change on a Saturday morning. I maintain all my vehicles, but I am traveling so I couldnt do this one in my garage. I made an appointment a few days in advance. The staff (Josh and Jerry) were exceptionally professional and efficient, especially dealing with a very skeptical auto service customer like myself. I loved their all glass corner waiting area, very clean with WIFI, coffee, filtered water and current magazine selection. I only waited 30 minutes or so, but I could have waited for hours there watching TV or the people in downtown Omaha and enjoying the light. The total bill was about $35 for oil and filter--I double checked and they did replace the filter. I know Walmart will do the same service for $23, but I wasnt as impressed with their service rep or waiting area. The last thing I will say is that they didnt try to sell me extra services or try to bill me for fuel/oil additives that I personally feel are junk science products. They reported, based on a quick checkup list, that the wiper blades were a bit worn, but they didnt push any products on me. I loved that. It made me feel like they were doing what old auto shops used to do--cater directly to the customer and make auto service affordable and easy. Thats what brings people back. Give them a try.

This shop is an OK place to buy tires, but any work you want done beyond that might be better handled by a different business. I have not always been satisfied with the quality of work Ive received on vehicles Ive taken to this business, nor, at times, with the prices charged. Ive also had to resist high pressure sales pitches to have work done that I didnt believe was necessary. On the other hand, they are a fast shop, and when they say they will complete your car at a certain time, it is generally done by that time. And when you do have problems with their repairs, they do their best to correct the issues. Finally, you cant beat the location. It is very convenient to downtown. If you decide to have work done there, be prepared to pay a higher price than you would pay elsewhere. Also, inform yourself about what repairs and services they are trying to sell to you. Be prepared to resist the sales pitches, and dont be afraid to take your vehicle somewhere else for a second opinion. After you have gotten your car back, check everything as thoroughly as you can to be absolutely sure that they did the work that you paid them to do. To sum it up, I would say this is an OK shop that charges at the higher end of the price scale and believes in aggressively selling work.

I recently had issues with my vehicle and was told this location was a "great place to bring me vehicle", and it also happened to be conveniently open on a Saturday. I had my vehicle towed into this location by my insurance company and was given no confirmation that the vehicle ever arrived. I called to make sure it had arrived safely and was told "..yeah I think we got one of those here" in about the least reassuring tone imaginable. Alas, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited til the following morning to see If I could obtain an update about my vehicle. Upon calling them I was told my car was fine and was just low on coolant (It had been overheating so badly that the coolant had boiled over and I had refilled it and had the same thing happen again) they said they couldnt get it to overheat and had "tried everything and that it must be fine now". My vehicle made it the 8 mile trip to work and made it about 3/4 of the way to redlining on the way there, and on my way back home it overheated so bad that the car shut itself down completely. In conclusion, poor customer service and even poorer service/maintenance.

I have been a customer of Firestone tires at 20th and Harney for 6 years, and my most recent visit is certainly my last visit - their Customer Service is HORRIBLE, and their service staff are DISRESPECTFUL. I had just purchased two sets of tires for my two vehicles, and returned for two oil changes in a row. The used a coupon for $25.00 for the first oil change, but had forgotten the coupon for the second oil change. I asked their rude service tech at the service desk if the coupon could be honored, he checked with the service manager behind a window, and told me absolutely not. The oil change would be $48.22 and no coupons are valid. On top of that, I asked if my Firestone charge card offers any incentives/discounts for the oil change. The answer was still "NO," and fee was still $48.22 for an oil change. Id estimate that I have spent $4000.00 over the years, and my charge card could verify my loyalty to this store. Their service is HORRIBLE, and I will not return again. JENSEN TIRES directly across the street changed my vehicles oil instantly, and their price was less than $25.00.

They warned me that my rim was busted, and though I knew I jumped a pretty nasty curb, I didnt know the extent to which the rim had been damaged. It being a designer rim, they didnt have a ready answer for me as to how to fix the problem. I had to manage the situation and ask if this or that was possible, which allowed me to keep control. Im thankful for that. They did good work. They quoted me one price for tires, and tried to sell me the next day much higher end tires. Considering Im going from A to B, I just need rubber on it. But I get it. They need to make money off the markup. All in all, they were nice to me, cordial, quick, and I would go back.

They seem to be having some scheduling issues recently so it might be difficult to do a walk in but if you set up an appointment theyll get everything done quickly. The desk person was upfront with pricing and they called as soon as the work was done also giving recommendations but didnt hassle me when I declined. The work itself (oil change and new rear tires) seems to have been done well and they added in the usual things like topping up my wiper fluid and doing a quick vehicle inspection for free. Ill probably use them again next oil change.

I am very happy with their work. when they make a mistake they own up to it, and will go out of their way to correct their mistake. after all they are human and can error. granted the timing can effect my life at least I know what they are doing, as they keep me informed of the progress.

Was able to run diagnostic and repair my truck the same day, customer service exceeded my expectations, and very affordable. I am highly likely to return.

They were very up front with the cost after an initial inspection, and stuck to that budget. I did not have any price surprises at the end.
