I’ve been doing Crossfit for a few years and heard and felt all of the concerns that someone considering crossfit might think or feel. Ute Crossfit East Draper is the place to start and Nicholas and Rebecca will train, teach, guide and help you towards whatever your health, fitness or nutrition goals might be. When I started I was overweight and thought I needed to “get in better shape” or “lose weight” before beginning. I wasted time and health by not starting sooner. When I did start, I felt like I was the slowest and most uncoordinated person in the class. I wasn’t. I just felt that way until I realized that everyone was learning and trying to master these new movements. Nicholas and Rebecca do a fabulous job teaching the basic movements so that anyone new to CrossFit is comfortable and safe. And their careful and watchful eye doesn’t stop there. They are present and involved in each and every class. They are teaching, correcting, motivating, giving health and nutrition tips and information to make sure that each person is not only safely moving but being helped in reaching their goals. You have great coaches that will be your cheerleaders and wonderful members of Ute Crossfit that make working out with other people fun. Everyone is trying to improve and that’s what makes the company at Ute CrossFit great. Rebecca helped teach me better nutrition so that all the work I did in the gym wasn’t lost by making poor food choices. I wanted my eating to support all my hard work. Rebecca is so knowledgeable and wants your health and success sometimes more than you do. She worked with me individually on my goals and helping me with my eating so that I developed healthy habits and worked those into my lifestyle. I learned so much about fueling my body and taking better care of it. 50 pounds lighter from when I first started CrossFit and I am a better, healthier and happier person. I’ve been a member and visited a few different gyms and this is the one to belong to! They invest in the members, the gym, and the programs to make them top quality and what people need and want. They invest in YOU! I moved to Maine a year ago and miss my Ute CrossFit family. This is a wonderful place not only to work-out at but to belong to!

I have been working out at UteCrossfit East Draper for 4 1/2 years. Ive been through 2 pregnancies and 2 c-section recoveries while training here. Everything was scaled according to my pregnancies and post-operative recoveries. I never felt forced to do any movements that made me uncomfortable; in fact, I felt like I was in the most capable of hands. I have worked out at multiple gyms, and I have never met owners/trainers that are more invested in the well-being of their clients. Nick and Rebecca go beyond the expectations of a trainer. They teach in a way that helps their clients begin at the foundation of each movement. They explain the reasoning behind each step of lifting so that it is easier to develop the skill in the proper order. They always make time to answer questions about sore muscles, injuries, mobility, stretching, and nutrition. In fact, Rebecca even offers nutritional counseling. She helps you find the best way to eat for your lifestyle. She is a wealth of nutritional knowledge. She is always there, but I have never felt pressured to eat a certain way, or start a nutritional program that I wasnt ready for. I cannot say enough good things about this box. Whatever your training goals (competitive crossfitting, developing lean muscle, losing weight, or just trying to keep up with your kids), you will find it here.

Ive been a member of 4 different CrossFit boxes over the past several years as we have moved around a bit and Ive also dropped in on dozens of others across the country as Ive traveled for work. I can say without a doubt that Ute CrossFit East Draper is the best Ive come across. There are three main reasons for this: 1. The coaches. Nick and Rebecca are amazing. They help me scale and modify workouts to fit my needs and goals. They also adjust and modify to prevent injury. It is not one-size-fits-all CrossFit at this box. They supplement the daily workouts with mobility sessions, nutrition consulting, technique seminars, and more. They know their stuff and they make it super fun. 2. The facility. They have everything you would expect and much more at this box. High quality oly bars, platforms, KG plates, strong man equipment, sleds with a turf area, ski erg machines, and more. Awesome facility with tons of high quality equipment. 3. The community. People are just cool here. Even if Im not doing the exact workout for that day, no one judges or looks at me funny. Top CrossFit competitors kick it with soccer moms and everyone just enjoys working out together. I honestly cant say enough good things about UCFED. Huge thank you to Rebecca and Nick. I am enjoying my training and fitness more than ever!!!

Awesome! I was a client at Ute CrossFit East Draper for over two years. I was in my late 40s and suffered from chronic fatigue and aches and pains. After the first few months of training I regained my energy, no longer suffer from chronic back pain, and have a fitness level comparable to what I had in my 20s. The only reason Im no longer a client is because I moved 35 miles away. Nick and Rebecca genuinely care about the lives and fitness goals of every one of their clients. They have built a fantastic community that is truly a family environment. It is so much more than just a place to workout. There are no egos and everyone is fully accepted as they are. Everyone supports and encourages each other to be a better version of themselves. In addition Nick and Rebecca are both highly knowledgeable and talented trainers. No matter what your current fitness level or goals they have ability and passion to help you reach your fitness goals. I would highly recommend Ute CrossFit East Draper to people of any age or fitness level. They are also more than capable of helping people who have physical disabilities or limitations. I am forever grateful for the life changing experience I had while training at Ute CrossFit East Draper.

Let’s get real…nobody is perfect. No place is perfect. But it is possible to be almost perfect and striving to get better. That is Ute CrossFit East Draper in a nutshell. They live by the mantra, “Are we better than we were yesterday?” They are so near perfect it’s amazing, but they also know they can get better. And they strive to do so. They talk to their clients, ask what they need to do to meet their clients’ needs, use the feedback and, believe it or not, get even better. I’ve been part of the UCFED community for 4.5 years now. Starting as a newbie (no exercise for years), losing an insane amount of weight, putting weight back on (yes, most of it fat), feeling like CrossFit was no longer my exercise love, inconsistent participation and/or half-hearted effort, and coming out of that low to a new realization that I’m still stronger from the journey. It’s not just a physical strength that UCFED endorses. They want to help you where you need the help. The coaching staff meet you where you are, help you through tough times with tough love, and encourage you in mental and emotional health as well. They don’t play doctor, they play coach and they do it right alongside you.
