I had made an appt. with M.W. I got there and she was in the middle of applying lightener to another client and asked me if I had an appt. so I said, "yes, with you I believe.." So she had me wait for about 20 minutes or so, while she finished the lightener on her other client. I had booked myself for a balayage, cut and an Olaplex treatment. She talked me out of applying darker roots so I wouldnt have regrowth and just lightening my ends. (Im also thinking she was crunching on time because she told me her last client didnt book herself enough time, in which I would think you should tell them to reschedule or you would do what they scheduled themself for.) She quickly applied the lightener and had me sit under the lights for probably at least 45 minutes while she completely finished her other client. She did check on me maybe once? She did not leave on any Olaplex treatment at the shampoo bowl, in fact I wasnt even sure I received it because it was no different than a normal wash. (I paid extra money for this service.) She cut my hair which turned out fine, styled it and sent me on my way. My hair seemed absolutely fried. (Not necessarily blaming the stylist for this but it felt like cotton candy!) My biggest issue was how splotchy and spotty my color turned out. So I gave it a few days and messaged her to let her know and she happily told me she would fix it and do another Olaplex treatment. So I made another appt. with her. When I got there, she was yet again in the middle of another client. I sat and waited LITERALLY 45-50 minutes (not exaggerating!) before she took me back. Then she yet again quickly applied lightener, which i am 99.99% positive was the lightener she used on her previous client. -All hairstylists know its not as potent after sitting out so long.. So she finished that and asked if I wanted a full Olaplex treatment.... Uh duh, I paid for it the first time and never even received it. I was just annoyed at this point so I said I didnt care. So she let it sit for like 5 minutes at the bowl. My hair was still very spotty and splotchy which even the stylist mentioned. Im not even as upset about the poor quality but more or so the poor customer service I received. I feel like if the stylist had been more attentive and checked on my hair while it processed we could have avoided this problem. Im not sure if she double booked herself both times but I feel like I definitely didnt get the quality/customer service I was paying for.

Cotton Salon is the BEST! The atmosphere is very friendly and professional, its hard to believe theyve been open for less than a year! I especially love getting my hair cut by Jenise.

Kate does fantastic work. Cute little salon, a bit hard to find from the road. The sign isnt lit up, so in the dark it was hard to find.
