I give this Funeral Home just 3 stars. While the actual Viewing and Funeral were nice, the remaining business details were not. My Sister and I made most of the family decisions for the services of my Mother. Over the entire process you will meet with 2 - 4 staff members that at some point conflict in their description of needs, expenses or bill resolution. I recommend taking a recorder into each meeting so that explanations can be re-played for the front office staff. While my sister and I understood some explanations one way, the front office staff explained it differently which was usually not in our favor. Good funerals but too many people to deal with for each phase. Good Luck!!

My mother died a couple weeks ago, and had requested to go to Jenkins-Soffe because she had known Vaughn Soffe. My father was in the funeral business for 70 years, so I know the area. I was most pleasantly impressed by the care and sensitivity of the staff and their obvious desire to make the process as easy as possible. There was virtually no sales pressure, although we knew what we wanted when we went in. One very nice touch is the post-funeral services, including notifying Social Security, etc. Finally, the cosmetic work on my mother was absolutely the best I have ever seen - she looked 15 years younger. I recommend them without reservation.

For a mortuary its pretty nice on the inside, but the location is really sketchy. Ive heard rumors of cars getting broke into in the parking lot. Lots of signs saying to lock your car, and hide your valuables. But the people seemed nice and friendly enough.
