I could write a small book on the issues I’ve had with aatopia, but because google limits the number of characters I’ll simply list the lowlights of my experience. The girl (I guess what you call “a team” one person) washed my BLACK car with soap and water in direct sunlight on a hot day. The car I got back was exactly what you would expect after washing a black car in sunlight. There was a soap film all over the car. It took me 3 hours to rewash and hand wax the car in my garage to remove the residue from my car. The interior had only been cleaned to the window level. No banisters or headboards touched. The windows were a mess. The headlights were ridiculously bad. My leather seats had 4 new holes, rips, and tares in them. When I asked the girl about the terrible condition of the exterior, I was told that it was oxidation and that she would have buffed it out but she would have to charge me more and she was trying to save me money!! If it weren’t so absolutely unbelievably bad it would almost be comical. Since Monday was a holiday, I waited until Tuesday to go back and talk to Tyler about the issues. There was a customer inside and I didn’t want to embarrass anyone by bringing this up in front of a customer, so I told him I’d wait outside. After several minutes, he came outside and I showed him the car. Instead of any genuine concern for my experience at his business, I got a lot of excuses and rationalizations for the work. “The car was washed with soft water and so it wouldn’t have soap residue even if it was done outside”. “ The perforated leather in the Acuras is notorious for having weak spots that tear easily”. They admitted that they had not waxed the car and that the interior had not been completed because the girl was in a hurry and running behind. I will admit that at one point, a body guy came out and offered to completely buff out the car and told me how good it would look when he was done. Had they not actually DAMAGED my car, I probably would have accepted that offer, but I really didn’t want any of these guys going at my black car with an electric buffer at this point. I mean if I went to a dentist and he really messed up my root canal, I’m not sure I going to take his offer for free crowns even if he promises really good dentures if he messes that up also! I went into Aatopia to give the business a chance to own up to the problems and do the best they could to make things right. Apparently, that resolution is beyond them to figure out what would be the “right” thing to do. As of today, several days later, they have not offered one cent in reimbursement, even for the work that they admittedly didn’t complete. I think they figured since it was obvious I was NEVER going to be a return customer that they could just move on and keep the money for the job since I paid in advance. I waited long enough to give them a chance to do the right thing, which would have at a minimum been to give a full refund and I would have been really impressed if they offered to fix the leather. As of today, I will be taking the car to a different detailer in Ogden. I will also be getting estimates on repairing the leather seats so that I can sell the car. I have also had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge since it has become obvious that Aatopia has no intention of doing anything. (after seeing my dispute Aatopia called to say they were going to refund my money. A bit too late to be genuine) I don’t judge any business on making a mistake… it can happen to anyone. However, I absolutely judge them on what they do after the mistake… and, all I received from these guys were excuses and rationalizations. Never a good business practice. I’m one of the few negative reviews for this business. Several are anonymous, but I put my name on any review I give - good or bad – I’ll stand behind it.

Never in my life will i recommend this place to anyone or get any of my vehicles fixed by this company ever again. I took my car in to get done body damaged fixed on my car which is a higher end car and they didnt even fix it the first time around i had too get another rental car and take it back to them and still to this day its not completely fine by refuse to take it back.this place also placed a stupid sticker in my car which i did not agree for them to do.i do not line stickers on my car what mashes them think i want their sticker in my car.they promised to do things to my car for No extra charge and did not do it.they fyi not keep to their word.also they lie i called to check on the status of my car and twisted my words around saying i told the guy on Friday night that i am not going to pay for my car and the insurance is covering the hole thing. Never did i say that.the owner is the one Im sure i contacted and the last up front said he gas a metal disability seriously i dont care cause you lie. If the owner has a disability then he should not be running a company and his place of business a bad rep or name. The worst experience in my life is a joke.the guys say 8am but no one was even there and i was told by a guy That they Dont Get There till 9am then change your hours if thats the case.i would not recommended anyone to go here go somewhere else if you want better quality work and honest people. Also they tried to scam my insurance.they did not put a new vw symbol on car and tried charging my insurance.i told them to put it on if your charging my insurance for it.also they gave 2 separate involves with 2 different balances which i have to give my insurance. They dont even call insurance company back either.lazy full of excuses and probably always will

We are soooo impressed! We took our 2008 Saturn Outlook in for a full detail today and it came back looking brand new! This car has been dirtied up by three seat-kicking, french fry eating, capri-sun spilling, lego dropping kiddos as well as two other rowdy carpool boys and it was time for some love. I really CANNOT believe that it looks brand new again. The price was amazing, the carpet, dash & leather all looked beautiful, and the tracks in the sliding seats were all cleaned to perfection. The most AMAZING part was that they were able to buff out some black side swipe marks wed received in a small collision a LONG time ago that we hadnt been able to remove - and there was no extra charge! They just did it without asking as part of our detail. We are so thrilled with the job Aatopia did today! Well definitely be going back regularly! - Monika Anderson

We broke down far from home on a Saturday. Aatopia happened to be nearby and we managed to get our vehicle to the shop. A relative picked us up and took us the rest of the way (hundreds of miles from Aatopia). Over the next three days the mechanics at Aatopia kept in close contact with me. It took a little time to diagnose the problem and locate the needed parts, but they kept me in the loop and made every effort to keep the costs down. They could have charged me a lot more for labor, but they stuck to their initial estimate. The people at Aatopia were honest and they did a great job. They even picked up my wife from the train station when she went to pick up our vehicle. Our Suburban was barely able to run when we got it to the shop. Its been several weeks since we picked it up from Autopia and it has never run better.
