Normally, Im very calm when it comes to customer service issues but UPS has been jerking me around so much, I just cant stand it anymore. My first experience was a week ago. I paid for over night shipping on my package. I live in an internal apartment building that requires a code to get into the door. I noted the door code on my package to make sure that my driver would be able to get to my specific home. Instead of checking out the package and finding the code, my driver just set my package out the main door of the apartment complex and left. Obviously someone picked up the package since there are at least 100 other people that live in this building and to be honest I dont live in the best part of town. So, I contacted the correct people and had my package overnighted again. However, I asked that I pick up my package. UPS told me where to pick my package up the next day. I went to that store the next day and they informed me that my package was actually at the main HUB location but unfortunately they just closed so I would have to wait until Monday to pick up my package. At this point it was Saturday and my original next was delivery package was ordered the Monday before... I had another package coming and I contacted UPS to change the delivery address to my job (since I didnt want my package just left outside again) and I was told the info was updated. I checked the info online a day later and saw that it was still scheduled to be delivered at my house... So I called back and was met with major attitude and the lady telling me that I never called before to update my address because they have no record of it. So basically I hate UPS and I really wish that they would get their act together since theyre dealing with expensive products.

Lets be honest, nobody likes to have to go to the UPS Customer Center, that means that something happened to your package. But this rating isnt about UPS in general, its about the customer center itself. My package was supposed to be delivered directly to my apartment, however, when I got my shipping confirmation, I noticed that my apartment number wasnt there (not UPS fault, but the shippers fault), and deliveries from any company wont be delivered if there isnt an apartment number. It costs $5 to change the address online, so I decided just to do a pickup from my local UPS Store. The store wasnt open when the UPS driver did his rounds, so they said I needed to contact them. I called customer service (it took me less than a minute to get a person), and they said I could pick up the package from the UPS Customer Center. I said "Okay, thanks" and went and picked it up after work. The two employees greeted me as soon as I entered the door, asked if I was doing a pick-up, promptly asked my for my name, for my ID, and got my package. I was in and out within a couple minutes. UPS not only treated me fairly, but was professional and very fast. I had no problems, and my 5 star review is exactly how I feel about the UPS Customer Center, and UPS itself.

On Sept 7th, 2014, I dropped a package with a pre-printed shipping label into a drop-box RIGHT outside the major hub in West Valley City, UT with the understanding that it would be picked up the following day at 6:30pm. I noticed the tracking did not indicate pickup THREE DAYS LATER so I called. Their answering service apologized and transferred me to investigations where I spoke with a bored human recording that would only keep repeating like a parrot, "Until it is scanned into our system, there is nothing we can do." I physically went into the Customer Care Center 9/16/2014 where I was assured that the drop box is emptied Mon-Fri at 6:30pm. She wrote my information on a series of post-it notes for her manager and assure me that I would here from the manager. It is now 9/18/2014, no word from manager and another call to the call center is worse than spitting into the wind. They cant do anything. They cant transfer me to the West Valley City Care Center. They cant give me a direct call number. They cant they cant they cant. What CAN they do?

I sent a package Monday, Dec 23rd to be at my financial institution Tues. Dec. 24. The package had gotten lost in the crush of Holiday packages. Finally my package was found at the hub in Swainsboro, GA and I was left a message that the package was going to be taken by one of the GA supervisors to my bank. I called the 800 number to find out who was taking my package and when the package would arrive as it was already 3 days late. My call was routed to the Salt Lake City hub where it was answered by a supervisor, Christy #2456. Even after describing the situation she would not give me any information on how to contact the Swainsboro, GA hub, nor try to contact them herself to get me any additional information. She flat told me "NO I will not give you that information, I dont know why you need it". I have never dealt with such a rude person in customer service. I hope I never have to deal with the Salt Lake UPS again. Her attitude is what kills businesses.

Used the website to request my package to be held at this main location on 9/30 at noon local time. I went to this location to pick up my package and surprise, not only it was not held but its on the delivery truck... But it wont be delivered, the guy at the desk was not only completely useless but also informes me that the truck will be back after they close... I ask him of they can just deliver my package tomorrow 10/4...impossible because its going to be held at this location, and its too late to remove the hold, if I do it it wont be on a truck again until Wednesday 10/5. Frustrated I ask for his name, supervisor and a phone number... Surprise, the phone number he gave me is not valid, he didnt provide me with his name, and now I doubt his supervisor is really "Anna". Conclusion, 3 extra days for delivery. No ups agent will read this, so nothing will come out of it. This is by far the worst UPS location Ive dealt with in 4 states.

If there was a way to give these idiots - stars I would. They are horrible. The guy put "could not access the gate" ummmm THERE IS NO GATE. when I called they said it was because he couldnt figure out how to get up the elevator because hes new. so I asked them to HOLD FOR PICK UP and they said it would be ready at 7:15. I got there at 7:15 and they said he wouldnt be here until 7:45........... They close at 7:30. They told me to wait in my car by the gate and someone would come out and give it to me. NOBODY CAME OUT. I called the call center si de thats the only number and they said the package got there at 6:50. THEY ARE IDIOTS. How in the hell do they not know where the package is. This is a Friday and they said dont worry you can get it Monday. Um no I PAID FOR TWO DAY SHIPPING AND I AM NOT WASTING MY TIME. the location they held it at is 30 minutes from my house. They better find a way to get it to me on Monday. Im not wasting my time or gas
