I really have NO idea where these guys got the false reviews on here. I have never felt more cheated in my life. We trusted this company to move our stuff across country... For 13k here is the service you get: -They hand picked items from our house and stole them: Our Apple TV, All of our tools, my sons hoverboard, our comforter to our bed AND our Drone we just got! We still have yet to receive a reply regarding stolen items. Seeking legal representation now. I dont care if I get a penny, I just hope this doesnt happen to someone else. -We got a bid-they showed up day of, started loading and said "Oh its going to be another 7k to move your stuff, sorry" -They didnt have the money to fund their business so it was dyer they got cash up front from us, I wish we wouldnt have done it. They REALLY put us in a bad position... -We paid for time for their crew to just sit around and wait while the next truck came... it was hours. Everything took double the amount of time we were told. The staff that showed up had never packed a truck before! -We were ALSO told same people would be driving the truck. NOT true. They hired a temp worker who could barely move. Showed up 6 HRS after the scheduled time and took double the time to unload because they only had 1 1/2 workers. Its sad that these guys can just steal items and still continue to take peoples good from home to home. This is a very sensitive time for you and I really-Truly hope you do not trust this company to do it for you. Go with United or someone who may be more honest about the way they do business. UPDATE to this comment: The moving company has been reported to the BBB. They are claiming, "No proof of theft and buyers remorse." Here are some pointers if deciding to book with this company 1-make them come to your home, give you an official bid 2-specifically ask for a contract that states they will have experienced employees pack the items 3-ASK for an inventory list-check the inventory list off before they leave your home. This is the mistake we made. I really love supporting local companies but this was definitely a mistake...

I HAD MANY ITEMS STOLEN! PREMIUM PRICE FOR POOR SERVICE. Im surprised to see all of the positive reviews because our experience was anything but good. - BID: Only do a guaranteed bid with them. Actual price was $5k over bid and higher than any guaranteed bid we got. ONLY USE IF IT IS A GUARANTEED BID. THEY EITHER CANT ESTIMATE OR GO LOW TO GET BUSINESS. and I HAD ITEMS STOLEN! - CREW: They did not provide the crew numbers (not to mention quality) we were promised yet we paid well over quote. and I HAD ITEMS STOLEN! - CASH: They expected/needed cash right at the moment of completion. We even needed to pay them early for the move out because they needed cash to rent another truck because their estimate was off. I always paid a certain % upfront then got billed for the rest. Not the case here. They needed my money immediately. and I HAD ITEMS STOLEN! - PROFESSIONALISM: Didnt itemize anything, poorly packaged, poorly marked, did not put boxes in place it was marked, not floor protection in my existing or new home, said they would carry away boxes and didnt, disassembled large items to move then didnt reassemble at destination. and I HAD ITEMS STOLEN! - STOLEN ITEMS: And I had a hover board, drone, apple TV, Tool set, etc. I have moved a number of times and not experienced any of this. I dont generally write bad reviews. I feel like the bad guy when all I did was pay a premium price for poor service. Whats more they took items we trusted them with when doing business. They sent money to replace one item and I have to spend my time and energy trying to get my money back.and I HAD ITEMS STOLEN! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

The winter weather got us off to a late start, but once our team of 3 guys arrived they worked hard and fast! I am just weeks away from delivering a baby and they made me feel completely at ease. One guy even said that he tried to treat the stuff he moves as if he were moving his own belongings. Their communication was great as well. They called before they showed up to pack up and kept us in the loop throughout the day until we met up at our new house where they unloaded even faster than they loaded. This is not necessary but is an added bonus- they were all friendly, especially with my two kids asking them questions and getting in their way all day. I would absolutely use these guys again and would recommend them to anyone! Happy moving!

I work as a Facilities Specialist for a Mortgage company and manage several locations around Utah. I have used Best of Utah Moving on several occasions for random jobs to move furniture to and from storage units, moving employees offices within a space, etc. They are easy to book, Nelson always answers and in the rare time he doesnt he gets right back to me with time and availability. The movers are always on time, polite, and professional. They work quickly and ask questions when needed. I appreciate their professionalism and good pricing. I enjoy working with them and would recommend them to any busy professional or home owner who needs moving assistance.

We have moved way too many times. For the first time I decided to hire movers so family and friends wouldnt feel obligated. This was a great experience. When my funding time suddenly got pushed back they worked with me to rearrange the day to still fit me in. This put us at the end of the day after two other moves. The movers that night were Brendan, Austin, Tim, and Mitch. I made a point of taking down their names because they did a great job. After what must have been a long day they still worked hard and moved fast. They were respectful and would have done anything I needed to make it go smoothly. So thanks guys! If I move again you have my business :)

I recently used the Best of Utah Moving Company to move out of my condo and they were great. They were reasonably priced and the movers were very courteous and efficient. They took great care with my belonging and were quite accommodating. I had some pieces of furniture that were heavy and they had to be taken down 2 flights of stairs but the movers handled these with care and ease. I also had a long heavy couch that was proving difficult to get down the stairs but the movers went the extra mile to come up with a solution to get it moved for me which I greatly appreciated. I would definitely use them for another move in the future.

This was the absolute best money we spent on our move! I did a lot of research before deciding on a moving company to use as I have had bad experiences in the past. This company was so well organized and truly professional that I was amazed! We had A LOT of stairs and narrow hallways to deal with. Ruben and Jordan made sure there was not a single scratch on any wall or on any furniture AND they respectfully understood my concern about no shoes on my brand new floors an carpets. I cant say enough great things about this crew. Thank you for making a stressful situation for us do much better!
