I was hired at Sorensen to be on their fiber deployment team. My field supervisor on the L3 fiber project was the most unhelpful, ignorant, self-righteous person. He never got the tools each crew needed, he always did whatever he could to look better himself, even at the expense of his crews reputation. However nobody ever called him on his wrongs. When I was transferred to a drill crew the equipment we were issued never stayed working long enough to finish a job and it was the utmost difficulty to get things repaired. Most of the time we were simply issued another piece of outdated and malfunctioning equipment. This was while working under the drill project manager, who in the 7 months I was employed, led me to believe I would be reviewed for a raise for three months straight. Ultimately I was laid off and then terminated duri g the winter and during my layoff they blocked my unemployment benefits. I found a better co. In Murray so alls well that ends well. My hands are clean of Sorensen.

We rented a Type III barricade from Wasatch Barricade for a block party for an annual 4th of July party we have, they delivered on time but when I left the sign out for pick up on the 5th they apparently did not come but the sign was gone by the end of the 5th. They did not come until the 7th to try and pick it up, no calls that they couldnt come or anything. Then on the 12th of July there is a post it note on my door saying they are missing the sign. No calls or any information leading up to this that a sign is missing. On the same day the 12th all of a sudden I am charged $300! for a $60 rental, again no contact or information on the situation. This was the first time I used them and I would never use them again or recommend them to anyone. I did not know that there was a problem until I called the morning of the 13th. RENTERS AND BUYERS BEWARE!!!

Friendly environment, environmentally conscious. Great company to work with. This is one of the few companies that actually looks out for their employees. Ive watched the employees in the field go above and beyond expectations of clients. Ive been witness to some of the employees whom have went out of their way to assist the public and communities. One employee stopped to help a lady of age whom had fallen while in the midst of crossing the street. He helped her up and to the side of the road and retrieved her things from the middle of the road. SCI is a leading company in the field of fiber optic communications. State of the art technology and equipment.
