Mike and Ian came when they said they would. They called about half an hour prior to our time to let me know. They listened carefully to me while I described not only the problem, but what I had done so far. They asked questions about which sockets were not working and what else I had tried. They fixed the problem on the first try. Then they walked with me while we checked out all the problem sockets. Mike also explained how the gfi protector works and how it could have broken. They reassured me that the call was necessary and that I would not have been able to fix it by myself. They installed the new protector with speed and accuracy. I used a credit card to pay, which was convenient. Mike clearly explained the cost and I felt that it was certainly fair since there were two of them. They both worked the entire time they were they. They did not take other calls while here. They communicated well with one another and seemed to work well as a team. Ian fixed a light fixture in my guest bath. It looks better and brighter now. He cleaned up after himself and did not leave any detritus on the counters. Mike gave me extra business cards which I will have no hesitation handing out to my neighbors. Ian and Mike did a swift yet accurate job. Lisa, the person in the office was also professional and helpful. Her troubleshooting was helpful Thanks.

Stay away! If I could give zero stars I would. I called this company to go out and do a simple job and replace a bathroom ventilation fan. Their electrician, Chris, went out and had no clue how to replace it. After telling me he would charge an extra 30% to drive 10 minutes to Lowes to pick up a fan I decided to go to Lowes myself only to find out the fan he claimed was at Lowes not only was not there, but the brand he told me to look for didnt even exist. Chris further asked me to do his job and asked me to go to Google and Amazon and find a fan, buy it myself and deliver it to the house for him to install. Isnt that why I called a "professional"? After not having a clue what to look for he finally agreed to go online and find a fan. Unfortunately Chris doesnt know what a fan is because he sent me a link to a radio to install in my ceiling. Makes no sense? After trying to call Chris and get this worked out he ignored me for three days and proceeded to send me a $75 bill for his "diagnosis fee". After calling their office to try and resolve this Ashley she proceeded to tell me this is their policy. When I told her Im not going to pay this bill she basically hung up on me and said leave it on the voicemail and transferred me.

We bought an outdated and very poorly "remodeled" home. We got bids from others but JP Electrical is who made me feel the most comfortable. They were quick to come give us a bid and we were pleased with the outcome. Within two weeks they completed an almost total re-wiring of our house, added new lights in what will be a soon to be remodeled kitchen and new outlets and light switches. The team that came to do the work, Mike and Ian were INCREDIBLE! I am an introvert and am nervous around strangers, especially when my husband is not around. These guys were awesome! From the minute they walked into my house I felt completely comfortable with them. (This was a full 2 day project) They were steady workers, no goofing around, calm and very informative on every step they were taking. When the work was done it was perfect! Right on bid!!!!! So impressive! Even more than I expected to be honest.I will positively hire JP Electrical for phase two of this remodel in a few months and I will insist on Mike and Ian being the team they send. Thanks JP Electrical. You totally ROCK!

Hats off to JP Electrical! I had two different contractors working on my job, and while the roofing people were hard to work with and screwed up the whole schedule, the JP guys were professional, courteous, and did what they had to do to get the job done (including answering a personal cell phone on a Saturday morning!). Im very pleased with their work and will turn to them first in the future, every time. Cheers JP!! Update: even more awesomeness from JP Electrical. One bit of my prior installation looked a little ugly, but when JP came back for some previously-scheduled follow-up work they were happy to re-work it. I feel like I got great work from good people at a fair price. JP Electrical is highly recommended in my book!

I had a great experience with JP Electric during their two day visit to my home last week for a service upgrade and several smaller projects. Mike and Ian were the electricians. They were prompt, courteous and competent. They communicated well with me and went the extra mile to make sure the work met (exceeded) my expectations. They took pride in their work. Everything about this company was excellent. Their estimator, Jon, their dispatcher, Mary, and electricians Ian and Mike were most professional. Their bid was the lowest of the three companies I obtained estimates from.

so.. the ballast in my kitchen light went bad. Zack from JP came out to do the repair. He called 10 mins before his arrival and was there in 10 mins! He was faced with some issues and powered through. We spoke and the one thing he said assured me he is an amazing electrician... He doesnt do half butt work, do it right the first time. That right there was all i needed to hear. So, if you need electrical work done and know its going to be done right, Zack is your man. i would and will recommend JP electric if anyone mentions needing electrical work needing to be done. Great job!

The entire experience with JP Electric was outstanding. From Jon who was the estimator to scheduling and most of all to Mike and Ian who came over to do the work. They were on time, polite, professional, and worked fast. They were so helpful in discussing options to do several different things and Mike thought of best and most affordable ways to solve some of our issues. They also did a several things that were not planned and were so helpful in installing our new wall oven. We will definitely use them again for future electrical projects. Thank you guys!!!

Ive been very happy with our experience with JP Electrical. Jon talked to us about options for replacing our breaker box and upgrading our electrical service. After accepting their bid, they had everything scheduled, installed, and completed within 2 weeks. Mike and Ian did a great job explaining what work was going to be completed, and they worked with us to find a good solution during the installation process. With timely, professional service and fair prices, Im definitely considering working with them again for future projects.

I had an emergency and had to have it fixed fast. The problem was small but I couldnt do it. So I looked in the phone book/web for an outfit who was close to Bountiful and offered free estimates. JP fit my needs so I called them on 3-6-2012. JP sent out an estimator in less than 3 hours and set up to have an electrician to fix it the next day; 3-7-2012. The electrician fixed it. So in less than 24 hours from the time I called, it was done. Their price was competative/fair, they were all pleasant and no job too small.
