Visited the Salon at Ulta Beauty to get my hair done.I told the girl what i wanted done, and even showed her a picture. She quoted me $189 which was WAY more than i expected. I told her that there was a sale of $30 hair cuts and 30 percent off of hair color, and i couldnt pay that much for hair...she continued to tell me that she was the head manager and that she doesnt do those deals...so i wasnt about to do it...then she comes back with a price of 154. I told her okay...so she parted my hair and put about 8-10 spots of color on my hair...no foil! We get done and she washes it out. She blow dries it and im looking at it, and it looks Exactly the same!!! I tell her, and she goes back again and paints a few more hairs...doesnt tone it down. By this time the salon is about to close. She cuts my hair half way, and i still express to her that it wasnt to my liking...now its orange!! She tells me its late, and there was poor lighting...to go home and look at it and if i had a problem to come back, and she would fix it. I call the next day...and get an appointment with her. I end up missing work, finding a babysitter to finish my hair. When i go in i was given the run around! She said i would have to pay an extra $92 to get what i want. I ask to talk to the manager...she was sitting right next to us getting her hair done!! I explain to her the situation telling her that paying nearly 300 for hair was outrageous, and that their pricing didnt say anything of that sort. She was VERY unprofessional and wouldnt budge on anything...while she sits there receiving free hair care while working!!! So i end up paying $164 for a hair cut that was longer on one side than the other...and no color change! So upset!!! I will never visit Ulta again! I had to go somewhere else to fix the problem...with a lady who has 20plus years experence ( not 3!) Who told me my haircut was crooked...and she put the desired color in. I only paid $42 for her care.Ulta is a joke!!! Thanks so much Alivia from Jordan Landing...you shouldnt brag that you give great care and you dont honor discounts that your company offers.If anything you need to offer discounts for a half job!!!

Horrible location! Customer service was some of the worst Ive ever had. I went to return some items that hadnt been used, still in boxes and, had the receipt. They were bought less than a week a go and the manager told me that they had already been returned and there was nothing she could for me. She told me that I had to go back to the store I bought them from and maybe they could help me. So I went to the store I had purchased my items at, the Sandy location and didnt have one issue. The manager and associates around her were very apologetic to me and gave me a free gift for my troubles. Ive worked customer service my entire career and never ever do you tell a customer that you CANT do anything for them. The only reason they wouldnt return my items is because they didnt want to take a hit on theyre profit and loss report.

I initially went in for a salon appointment and ended up also getting a facial while waiting for my salon appointment. The esthetican is the only reason I give this 4 stars. Otherwise, my salon experience was a 5! The esthetican was interrupting me during my hair appointment to push products on me and was very ignorant to the fact that I am in esthetic school and kept reminding her I know a thing or two and I will do my own eyebrows. My stylist Courtney was total awesome! The color didnt turn out as planned and she was happy to take the extra time to fix it exactly how I wanted it! Extremely knowledgeable about color and also carried great conversation and made me feel very comfortable about my choice to chop all my hair off :) I definitely rebooked with her for a 6 week touch up!

Stopped in to get two mascaras. Price posted was $8.99 each. Waited forever to check out as only one person working the counter. She rang up my two mascaras, came to $14.94 (I guess they were on sale) she said I was 6 cents short to use the $3.50 off coupon. I stared for a minute because I swore I got two things that totaled way over the required $15. She stared back, I said, really? 6 cents? She said, ya. I told her never mind then and walked out of the store not purchasing the two masacaras. Walmart is right by Ulta. I hate shopping at Walmart. Went in there, they had the Rimmel mascara I wanted so I bought two and they were much cheaper together WITHOUT a coupon. You lost a loyal customer over 6 cents. Smart move Ulta

I got an updo and makeup done by Ultas salon today for my engagement photos and I could not be happier! My makeup and hair was amazing thank you so much Michelle you were awesome. I would definelty recommend this to all my friends! I had my makeup done at 10 am and it is still looking great at 8 pm and that is after I went into the mountains while it was snowing! I am just blown away thank you so much for making me feel special and pretty! It was actually reasonably priced as well for my updo which I did curls and my makeup it was $60.00 dollars and I think that is fairly priced. Thanks again Michelle I will definelty be returning!

Went in for a free shampoo and wash and walked out paying $200 for a Brocato treatment. When I washed it out, I found it didnt work, so I went back and we left in the treatment longer. I also left with the curl interrupted kit that goes along with the treatment. Long story short, unfortunately for my stylist, Brittney, it worked well so I didnt have to go back. Now, about 11 months later, I finally have to make my next appointment. Brittney walked me through "Curl Interrupted" and because I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS, I wasnt disappointed. It was the first time my hair wasnt burnt and I will only trust Ulta as long as Brittneys there.

The costomer service IS HORRIBLE!!!!!! I called to see if they had got a new shipment of eye lashes, well Im on the phone lady goes to check I wait a little over 6 minutes. A diffrent person picks back up can I help u? So I ask her did u get a new shipment of eyelashes in? Im lookin for the demi ones. She then puts me on hold another 4 minutes finally she awnsers (rude) Yes we got a shipment and we dont carry those. Bye. WOW! So I head down there (40 minute drive) sure enough NO SHIPMENT!! I drove to the other one & to my supprise DEMI LASHES right there. Like other costomers I will be shopping at SEPHORA frm now on.

Ulta is my very favorite store ever! I really dont know what I did before they were around. They have everything I need for my hair, skin & everything beauty related! Every product and brand, professional and drug store brands you can think of too! If Ulta doesnt have then I decided that I probably dont need it! Thanks Ulta, you are an amazing store with awesome people always helping me find what I need and want too! I love all of the promo products products & free gifts I get every time I come in too! Keep up the great work, I will be a customer for life!
