I took a bumper and spoiler in to get repaired and painted after a fender bender. I was told the job was done, and found sand and other particles in the paint of the spoiler. The bumper had fitment issues, and the filler/bondo could be seen in the location of the dent in the bumper, as if the paint didnt stick. The estimator admitted to why the bumper didnt fit right, and admitted that it should have been repaired differently. I was then told that the repairs would be fixed, both the spoiler, as well as the bumpers multiple issues. A few days later I was again told the car was ready. Unfortunately, I again found bubbles and small chips in the paint on the spoiler, and though the paint was fixed on the bumper, the fitment issues were still present (the exact same no less). The estimator again expressed his frustration and promised to make it right. A few days later after asking the estimator for a discount for the inconvenience (though I didn’t ask for a specific amount), He told me it was a reasonable request. However, later when the manager called, I was told not only would I not get a discount, but that I had already been given a price break and the issues would not be fixed, because the reason for the bumper fitment problem wasnt originally addressed in the quote. I explained that I had been promised a factory looking fix multiple times, specifically relating to the fitment, and was actually told that I was lying (though the manager wasnt there at any point in the repair process), and continually cut off and talked over by the manager. I told him I would not pay for the sub-par job, to which I was told I would not get my car back. Here’s a funny little snippet directly from their website: “Rest assured, your auto body and collision repairs will be done Right the First Time, On Time.®” It should be noted that I am a repeat customer, though not to this location (SLC location). I was previously treated wonderfully, in fact, management and my estimator went above and beyond at the other location. Unfortunately I have had a complete opposite experience here. (Complaints from myself have been submitted with BBB, the local consumer protection agency, as well as a local news personality who specializes in consumer related issues, guess who!)

NOTE TO BUSINESS: Do not contact me, youve had your chance to resolve this issue. I had repairs to my car that involved replacing front bumper and driver side wing. The fit and finish on the resultant job was very tight and I remarked on it but was assured that if the panels being so tight caused issue then adjustments would be made. at the end of the year I noticed paint falling off from between the two replaced panels. Over the winter rust started to appear on exposed metal. I contacted them and the gentleman that dealt with me was no longer there. I made an appointment to have them look at it. A young Russian guy came out and told me, within 1 minute, that the panels are supposed to be that close even though i know they arent because I have two of these cars and the gaps are noticeably larger on the other car. He then claimed that because there are scratches under the front bumper that we have been in a accident that has lifted the bumper and chipped the paint. I guess Ill have to take the from bumper off myself and repair the damage. You have been warned. Do not do Business with this location. even if they called to honor their side of the warranty, Im no longer interested. I took me 3 times to get him to agree to put his report in writing to me in email should I bother to pursue it further which Ill probably not and they know it Ill just leave this review as a warning to you all. they will not honor repairs. if you ignore this.. take pictures, before and after and get up close and keep good records. or just do business with an honorable company.

My vehicle had major damage to the front. Abra Bountiful did all the work and charged me for a battery. When I got home I noticed the battery was original. I called them and asked them to return my money for the prorated portion and to return the money to the insurance company. They said they didnt change the battery because it just had cosmetic damage. They issued an immediate refund and an apology for charging for it even though it wasnt replaced. Also, both dust caps for the A/C servicing ports were just sitting under the hood and there was a tool under the hood in plain sight. Then, later the vehicle wouldnt start. I found both battery cables extremely loose. Then a short time later I had more power problems. I didnt trust Abra Bountiful so I took it to Abra in Sandy. Abra in Sandy found other connections loose and also found that the battery had failed. Im hopeful that this was an isolated incident and Abra Bountiful will ensure this series of problems never happen again, but I will never go back to Abra Bountiful. In the future I will always go to the Sandy location.

This is my second time to take my car to ABRA in Woods Cross. The first experience was when I was T-boned. ( I drive a 13 Pathfinder.) They did all the repairs through my insurance and it was great. I did have to take it back because there was a whistle coming from the door they replaced, but I drove it back, and they fixed it. They also completely detailed my car inside and out. I felt like I got a free detail that would have cost $100+. The second time I took it in (last week) there were just a few things that I wanted fixed (broken door handle, broken latches, etc.) I worked with Dan and he is amazing. A repair that the Nissan dealer told me would cost over $400 to fix (tearing out seat, etc), he climbed in the back of my car and fixed it. Cost me a total of $40 for two plastic pieces. They replaced the door handle for free (same door as the previous accident). Thanks Dan!!

We were extremely pleased with the body repair of our Subaru. They did a wonderful job. The best part is that it took only 2 days. When we picked up the car it was not only repaired but washed, detailed, and even the tires had been cleaned. We drove way with that "new car" feeling. We had used another company in Bountiful before. The repairs usually took a lot longer and were higher priced. We were so happy with their service that ABRA will be our auto body shop from now on.

Great customer service, gave regular daily updates on where they where at with my car, finished early, and even was willing to stay a few minutes after closing for me to be able to pickup my car. Have twice had someone back into my car and both times Abra was able to get it fixed quickly. The rental car was ready for pickup when I arrived and Abra called and took care of the return of the rental with no issues.
