My wife hit somebody and the front end got smashed, almost a total loss. They did the repair fairly quickly and it looked great. Only problem is our headlights didn’t work. I guess it was daytime and no one really felt inclined to double check, but our lights didn’t work. I felt like I should go back to them let them know what happened and expected them to fix it no problem. I’ve brought it in 3 separate times and left it with them days on end and the exact same situation happened every time. I went and told them what happened. First thing they didnt believe me and wanted to check it. After they check it, they say they need to talk with their boss or whoever was supervising. (This changed a few times?) Then after they refer me to their boss, I have to bring it back in to have them check it out. They can’t figure out why the lights wouldn’t be working? After all, it was just a front end collision and the lights were smashed. One light goes out, they’ve replaced the fuse a couple times. It works for a couple weeks and then doesn’t again, because apparently they didn’t fix the fundamental problem. One of the headlights has the bright on permanently. All three times I’ve brought it in that has not been fixed. They’ll call me and tell me it’s ready, and I check it and its still not fixed. But that supervisor magically isn’t there anymore. Convenient. I would not recommend this shop to anyone that owns a car worth over $1000. They either don’t know how to fix Acuras or just don’t care. Im going to file something with my insurance company and the BBB if I can.

Took my 2004 f-150 in for body work, the doors had to be removed to repair them. When I got it back I went to adjust the outside power mirrors and they wouldnt work so I went back in and notified them of the problem and left and returned later that day to pick it up. They said they were unable to fix the problem and told me to take it to a dealer and they would take care of it. After the dealer diagnosed it they said there was a short in the wiring where a previous repair had been done by a Ford dealer several years ago. This was reported to Carstar and I was told this was a pre-existing condition and they wouldnt take responsability for it. I could not afford to pay for the repairs and was charged $106.00 for the diagnosis. Carstar had told me they would take care of it or I wouldnt have taken it to the dealer. I think their techs were careless when they disconnected the wiring from the doors and pulled the previous repair loose. The mirrors worked when I took it in for repairs and didnt work the minute I picked it up so something happened to it while it was in their possession.

Took my motorcycle in to get it painted pearl white. This was not an insurance deal, but self pay. Turned out beautiful, but a month later I noticed a bubble on the side of the tank. I took it back in they said the issue was related to a previous repair. I contacted the previous owner of the motorcycle and found out the tank had been repaired 12 yrs ago. To make a long story short Brian said it wasnt their fault. As the new owner is it mine? Now Im faced with having to pay another $400 on top of the original cost of $900 to have one side of the tank repainted (keep in mind this is 1/2 of a motorcycle tank). If your considering having West Valley Collision paint your vehicle you better make sure you do your homework. If your vehicle has been previously repaired you might end up in the same situation of having to pay additional money out of your own pocket to have it repainted because there is no guarantee! Not a happy camper!

TL;DR: Slow service, questionable ethics, would not do business with again. The insurance company referred me to them to fix my car after an accident. They questioned my claim that the tail light was damaged in the accident, and I had to fight with them to get it repaired which they finally did. CARSTAR set unrealistic expectations as to how soon I could get the car back. They did not deliver on the time frame established in my initial meeting with them. One of my biggest problems with CARSTAR is that the repair job the rear driver side door caused the door to be slightly misaligned. When my wife took the car back to have them fix it, they accused us of leaving the door open and letting the wind damage the doors alignment. This is not possible, because I do not use the rear driver side door as it is my commuter car, and I never have need to open that door.

I just had my first experience having West Valley Carestar repair my vehicle after it was wrecked. If most people are like me you are always spectacle with any car repair shop. Of course this is all due to our past experiences with other repair shops. Well Im here to tell you that West Valley Carstar will put all of that to rest. I had a fantastic experience with them. Their customer service, and communication was great. I was always informed with the process, and timeline of when my vehicle would be complete. Most importantly their work on my vehicle was amazing! If years down the road I have a problem with any part of my vehicle they worked on, its covered. They guarantee their work for life. There wont be any other place I will take my car from here on out. Thanks West Valley Carstar!

Great repair shop with excellent service! I have worked with West Valley Collision Center for almost 28 years and have not only had great experiences for my personal needs but have also referred clients to them as well. My clients dont even ask me where to take their vehicle the next time they need body work completed since they return to this shop because of the professional way they were treated and the high level of satisfaction they have experienced. If there have been any issues, West Valley Collision has went above and beyond expectations to get it resolved. This family owned and operated business treats you like family and I would Highly recommend them the next time you need body work done. Thanks so much and Keep up the great work!

Horrible customer service!! My dad took his Fiero in a couple weeks ago to have the fender repaired. When he picked it up the side marker light was bent, he asked about it and Tony? said it came in like that (which was a lie my dad showed him a before picture where it was perfect) and said lets just put a screw in it to make it lay flat. My dad then asked to see a manager. The manager asked my dad if he was perfect the answer was no but Im a perfectionist and nothing would leave my shop looking like that! The manager proceeded to tell my dad he was an Ass!! Way to go!

Accidentally scratched a ladies car in a parking lot and didnt want to make a claim to my insurance. The lady got two bids to have the scratch fixed, both were around $850. My brother in law who has worked with Bryan referred me to his shop. I texted Bryan letting him know the lady would be coming in and to send me the bill. The next day I received a text from Bryan letting me know he was able to buff out the scratch and saved me hundreds of dollars. I appreciate honest quality service and I plan on referring all my family and friends to West Valley Collision.
