Ive waited a few weeks to write this review in order to avoid an angry review of Booska. I arranged and confirmed the time (twice) of the pickup of my belongings in Ferrisburgh. Due to staffing mistakes with coordination, Booska was 4 hours and 15 minutes late and they brought an 18 wheeler instead of the box truck I originally requested (I was clear from the beginning that an 18 wheeler would not fit in my driveway). During the delay, I was professionally courteous in expressing my frustration and letting them know I would likely miss my flight and incur costs for an extended rental car and plane change. Three different staff members suggested I check out with my driver and leave the house while they packed my belongings. I disagreed as my move involved a partial house move and I wanted to be there. With the 18 wheeler parked at the end of my 200+ yard driveway, I requested a van or box truck to ferry my belongings. David Booska called me on the phone and was loud, disrespectful, intimidating and belligerent. When I expressed concern about the movers taking all my belongings by hard cart down my driveway, David suggested I did not know how to pack and that he could send packers to repack my belongings, at my expense. Having no other option, I borrowed a neighbors pickup truck to complete my loading. I have never been treated with such disrespect in a professional situation. I think Booska has some serious staffing issues and they need training in how to treat their customers. The only bright side of my move was the driver and loaders. The driver, Chris, did an outstanding job and treated me with kindness and respect. I urge caution in hiring Booska movers

We were very pleased with everyone associated with Booskas Worldwide Movers to help us move our residence. We participated in an FAA Home Buyout program conducted by the Burlington International Airport. Although we were sad and disappointed to leave S. Burlington, our new carriage house home in Charlotte is wonderful...(and, not close to the F-16 noise at the airport. Whew!) As part of the Buyout Program, the FAA directed the Burlington International Airport and O. R. Colan Associates to assist us with our move and pay all services. To accomplish this, O. R. Colan required us to submit two written quotes from which they chose yours. Im glad they did. As we all know, uprooting the entire contents of a home presents many difficult challenges. That said, Im very impressed with the professional work and conduct of Booska employees. The entire team was led by Jeremy who is a committed, quick-thinking, deliberate and dedicated employee. To coin a phrase "Hes a keeper!" Jeremy and everyone worked hard and very fast to pack all our belongings on the first day, load box after box into the truck on the second day, and unload everything safely into our new home on the third. The pace was fast and furious which made my job making impromptu decisions about where to put things equally speedy. HUGE thanks and congratulations to you, Jeremy, Theresa and everyone on the Booska team for your kind help, support and understanding. We have already recommended Booska Worldwide Movers to our neighbors. We will find other opportunities to recommend you to others in need of professional relocation / moving services.

I would like to thank you and Booska Movers for moving our belongings From Monkton VT to Rockport ME. At this especially stressful time, we were so pleased that the move was completely hassle free. James, Josh and Caleb put the "Pro" in professionals. They were prompt, efficient and polite and it was a pleasure to deal with them. After hearing some "horror" stories about other peoples moves, it was so refreshing to see that there was plenty of integrity left in an industry that has a less than stellar reputation. I can tell you that the previous owners of our "new house" had some issues with the company they contracted with including tardiness and inefficiency. They also determined that the moving van and trailer could not back down this driveway thereby creating a whole different set of problems. We were sure that your van would have the same problems, but James backed the trailer down to within 30 feet of the garage thereby resolving the need for a "shuttle" truck. Finally, when time came to present the bill, the amount was less than the estimate. Even though we were not paying directly for the move, Im sure that my wifes employer was happy. I would be pleased to refer Booska to anyone planning a move and you may gladly use me as a reference for future business. I wish you and your company much future success and once again, many thanks for a job well done.

I chose Booska because the estimator (Matt) who arrived to look at our house and discuss prices was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. He made suggestions, gave tips for reducing costs, and really seemed to know what he was talking about. The move was paid by our work and we were required to have 4 estimates--Booskas was not the lowest but they were by far the most professional group and thats why we chose them. When I had questions prior to finalizing things, they were answered quickly and with full information. The estimate was very detailed and gave us all the information we needed. Then, when they showed up to make the move happen, they were amazing. Booska Movers are fantastic! This was my fourth interstate move and Booska was by far the best company Ive ever worked with. They were professional, friendly, efficient, and accurate. They showed up exactly when they said they would (on both ends), the packers were incredibly efficient but also careful and very friendly as my kids and cats observed, and they got the stuff to us really quickly. Plus they were painstakingly careful, and didnt bump or chip anything. Their original estimate was also very close, and they ended up returning a small check to us for things they had over-estimated. I cant recommend them more highly.

I want to take a moment and provide some feedback on our recent move and take the opportunity to compliment the team who moved us. Pam and I moved with our girls last weekend from Middlesex to Underhill and we contracted with Booska based on our previous experience in moving to Middlesex six years ago, the attention to detail on the proposal and because of your experience with moving pianos. We were a bit anxious about the move due to the soft pine floors in the new house and our intent to move a piano across the floor and down one level. Throughout the day, Shawn, Jamie and Bill made us feel comfortable with the process and worked quickly, carefully and professionally. They were super accommodating to our requests and really made our two girls feel at home in their new home and rooms. We were amazed at how organized and how well they worked together and were really pleased in the care they took with both of our homes and possessions; everything arrived in fantastic shape. In addition, Shawn acted as an "arbitrator" in positioning furniture when Pam and I had trouble agreeing on the right layout.Thanks again for all of your great work and while we hope we dont need to use Booska anytime soon we will wholeheartedly recommend you to friends and family.

I just wanted to let you know that both Joel and Josh (the driver) were wonderful in our difficult move to Wisconsin from Vermont. Josh is so organized, empathetic, skilled in business and client relationships you must give him a franchise or something to own or run. Joel was wonderful in helping us get things rounded up to pack, soothing our sometimes worried selves and keeping things going forward. My husband, Al Roupp, an architect, owned two businesses. One had, at one point, 20 employees, and was located in downtown Chicago. I was the office manager for quite a while. It is rare to find employees like Josh and Joel - people who are responsible, trustworthy and hardworking. People who never quit, never moan or complain, have problem-solving abilities and keep the job moving forward. Booska moved us out to Vermont in Oct. 2011. Moving out of our big house was traumatic to say the least, but we found the same quality of service then. Clearly, if (dare I say this) we ever move again (oh, no I did say it..) we will always, always use Booska. Josh and Joel are treasures as employees. I hope you treat them well and they are given even more responsibility in your fine company along with a good raise.
