Disappointingly expensive for a lackluster experience. From the time we walked in to the time we left I kept wondering when we were going to be treated like guests. From the receptionist who barely looked at my daughter and I when we came in. We were the only appointments but she could only come up with one lock to the tiny lockerroom lockers. When I asked if she had another we were told to go upstairs and ask up there if they had any. We were guven old worn blue plastic spa shoes that I was afraid to put my feet in. We found our way upstairs for our appointments for rwflexology. Only one person on so one of had to wait. At no time were we offered coffee, water, etc. all expected in a quality spa. After our one reflexology we were met by two ladies one each for our manu-pedis. One gal was dresses like she had just come in from the barn. With dirty blue jeans and wrinkled t shirt. The other was more professionally dressed with an Aveda apron over her white top and black pants. Thats were the professionalism stopped. Our pedicures included a foot soak, nail, trim n file, cuticle pushing, a scrub, heat wrap n Polish. No heal treatment,no calf scrub,no calf/foot massage. Our manicures were the bare minimum. A little soak, trim, file, cuticle push. My daughters tech had her do her own scrub when she put the sea salt scrub on her hands n told her to rub. We both had to go to the roim next door to wash off. Then polish. Again no hand massage. While I was getting my pedicure someone below me was eunning on the first floor treadmill which shook the whole treatment room and was extremely noisy. At one point my tech said she was having trouble painting my toes because the chair was shaking so much. Again while getting our mani_pedis we were never offered so much as a water. I was then asked to wait a half hour while my pedi dried for my reflexology treatment. That was well done but we were there from 10 30 to 2 30 and left thirsty, hungrey and very unimpressed for $125 in services plus tip. I can get a better mani-pedi at home for $30. Safe your time and money....

Our Stay was Fantastic Stay!!! 3 days of none stop fun..2 nights at the The Pointe at Castle Inn & Spa in VT. Suite was awesome, it had everything, and I mean everything.Couples spa treatment excellent, Pool, Jacuzzi, the perfect temperature well kept the grounds were beautifully maintained, wonderful views.Dined in the Castle dining room the food was absolutely divine, steak melted as soon as touched my tounge. The nearby town was really fun great hospitality from everyone we met. Took a pretty ride to visit Long Trail brewery my other half was in heaven, on the way we stopped at a yard sale something we never do,,,15mins. feeling like The American Pickers,,,fun,,found a couple cool things, for one a Long Trail sign no longer being made we just had to have since we were about to see the place. Boated on the nearby Echo Lake found a nice sand bar to call our own. On the way home boated on Spofford Lake for another day of sun & fun, Beautiful lake. This is a trip we will do again and so look forward to returning to The Pointe when we do..

Ok, I am biased. I worked at the spa for almost a year. I can tell you the spa treatments are professional and luxurious and well priced if you take advantage of available discounts. Other than that, I can also say that management abuses their position to take advantage of underpaid/under appreciated staff. As with any "resort" the guests experience hinges on the staffs performance. Due to this treatment of the staff it is virtually impossible to enjoy your stay here. Management has been made aware of long standing issues yet has no desire to attend to them. At best, you will get a discount or voucher for next time and an apology while your issue remain the same. The "Castle" has a local reputation for these practices which is why without the influx of unsuspecting "flat-landers" I am laid off. Try Jackson Gore, its new, clean and people who work there are happy.

Absolutely terrible! Their "suite" was a small, "L" shaped condo. Dust was everywhere..the room was not very clean. I layed on the bed & had an immediate allergy and asthma attack. White cat hair was everywhere! This place says "no pets". Apparently its a term used loosely. For someone with allergies I was panicked. We got to the store for Benadryl and told the desk person. She offered another room in their cheaper hotel on the main road. Being sick and distraught, we took it so I could rest. It was clean. The weekend was ruined though. This place is NOT what it advertises. No resort...no "suites" just smoke & mirrors and PET DANDER! 3.5 hour drive from Maine to be sick all weekend :(
