THEYRE FULL OF SCAMS. Whether you go there for oil change or just a state inspection, your car will end up broken apart so that they can service you. I stopped by the G.N.A.T. early this week for a state inspection. It failed. Reason being,three parts must be replaced - (1) CV Axle Shaft, (2) Engine Mount, and (Suspension Control Arm Bushing, costing $114.46, $65.33, $21.22 each, respectively. These plus labor and tax totaled $501.18 I said no, and paid $25 of the failed inspection. The next day, I took my car to Monro Muffler/Brake shop located in Essex Junction, and my car passed the state inspection without any issue at all. If Google gave me an option to upload a file, I would upload two documents -- one from G.N.A.T. and other from Monro. I didnt want to believe these folks are doing old business...but this reminded me of what they did to me a few months after they opened their shop, nearly 1.5 years ago. I took my car for Oil Change, but they broke things and my car began to sound too loudly muffled. I would step on the gas pedal, but the car ran as if it is out of the gas...just noise. I told them about it, but the old lady at that time said they received my car like that, and that is why they want to service me. Crap! It cost me roughly $600 to fix it. I still dont want to believe theyre scammers. Its okay to offer an advice to your client about any potential risk posed on their car, but it is unfair and immoral to make a profit by scamming the clients. its more like having sex with a person who cant consent -- unconsciously. Id not want a beloved one to be deceived, so be careful!

We stopped into Northern Tire because of a slow leak in one of our tires while vacationing in Vermont. We waited about 10 minutes, then they checked out the tire, removed the screw that was causing the leak, and patched the tire. All at a very reasonable cost. Very accommodating as we did not have an appointment. Thank to the folks at Northern Tire!
