To the owners of IndAroma: My name is Patrick and Ive had a few run ins with this Indaroma located off Little River Turnpike. The first time I just had a dessert and needless to say, it tasted DELICIOUS! The second time, my mother brought me a chocolate croissant from there. To be honest the croissant was pretty terrible so I ended up throwing it away. The owners need to go to Panera and try one of their "chocolate pastries" and attain a similar taste with Indaromas croissant. The third time was astonishing, it had been over six months since I had ate the croissant and I walked in with my mother to eat some food. She ordered the Chicken Tikka curry and I ordered the lamb dish (not finding the name on the e-menu) and boy let me tell you, this was the best lamb I have EVER ate in my life. Not to mention the young gentleman at the register brought my mother and I a cup of water each. My one and only single complaint is that I was still starving after I ate. I am no 300 lb giant, but honestly, I didnt even get through half of my food and I thought to myself "man I am going to have to go to Five Guys next door to fully satisfy my hunger." With the price I pay here at Indaroma, (It was 8.99 x 2 plus a coke, came out to be around $21.00) I could have gone to Shamshiri (yes I know its Persian food and not Indian) in Tysons Corner where they LOAD YOU UP with food. Indaroma should serve A LOT of naan (Cmon bread is like what, $2.00 a lb for you guys when you buy it in bulk?) as an appetizer with some curry sauce to dip it in. Overall, unmatched service, and outstanding food, but the portions on the other hand are far too little for the price. Id maybe come back in a few months or so to see if things have changed or if my mother is willing to buy again :D Patrick

I went there last week and ordered carry out Lamb Rogan Josh and was not disappointed..it was indeed delicious and the portion was big.I also ordered Bhel Puri and it was excellent plus I received two sauces nicely packed in small containers for it. I went there again today for the same order but am totally disappointed. This time I ordered two separate portions but they were both very small portions and lots of oily gracy plus there was a very strong odor from the lamb, and the Bhel puri was dry. I asked an older man about the sauce for the Bhel puri when I looked in the bag and he said that he had already mixed it up. Looked like he did not want to give me any sauce...the Bhel Puri was really dry ..looks like he just put some drops of sauce in it. I am totally disappointed in the food this time. The smell from the Lamb Rogan Josh was so strong and the taste strange that I called from home to ask whether it was really Lamb or some other meat. Also, while I was there, I asked him whether he made salty lassi and he said he makes only Mango lassi for American customers..that was insulting. Overall, everything today left a bad taste in my mouth after spending $30..Thats it for me, I will not go there anymore.

Stumbled in after google maps search looking for a coffee shop alterative to the mega chain across the parking lot. I hesitated when I discovered it was an Indian cafe having no experience with Indian cuisine but with the help of an extremely friendly and helpful young lady I tried a Samoa chaat and have been hooked ever since. I now have been known to drive 30 mins out of my way to enjoy a light meal. The menu is primarily Indian while the deserts are mainly european in style a bit eclectic maybe but they make it work in a BIG way. They may have the best tiramasu I have ever eaten. Portions may be a bit light by our normal glutinous American dining habits but when I get past my tastebuds screaming for more I usually realize my stomach is content. Plus if I am still a little hungry what better excuse for having one of their unworldly good pastries to finish a great meal. and remember it is more a cafe than restaurant with counter ordering followed by table delivery

Have been to many indian places in the NOVA area and have to say that this place has the best food hand down. We went with a group of 8 people for dinner that was a mistake they are a first come first serve place. You have to pay for your food upfront and find a place to sit. The only downside was we had to pour our own water and grab our own spoons knives and forks. I was not happy with this. We ordered spinach chaat and bunch of other apps mind blown everything was good. Main course we had shrimp, chicken, lamb, and 3 veg dishes. Every single dish was good we cleared out everything. Desserts were crack. Will be back again soon.

This is a less formal and unusual Indian restaurant. It is an interesting take. I have eaten here numerous times in the last year and a half and dining in has always been a great experience. Take out it wasnt as great. The vegetable briyani is my absolute favourite and they do a excellent intensity on the spicy version. They have changed the way they serve water in the dining area and that was an excellent improvement. If they could make their naan more crispy that would be welcome. Too many times it has been severed a little bit doughy. Overall this is a great place and I look forward to eating here everytime I can.

Absolutely love their food. Their spicy settings are not for the light hearted. I dont usually eat Indian food out much, as my household cooks the similar good, but if I do go out for Indian, this place is it. I like ambiance here too, best feature... The help yourself to eater cooler. I thought it was genius. This way the waiter arent waiting around to refill your water at all the awkward moments. You go in order, they bring the food to you, you eat it and be in your merry way. Simple elegant, and no one is disturbed in the process. Try it out at least once.

What a GREAT Indian restaurant! I was searching on cafes near my home in Lincolnia, and Indaroma came up with all these great reviews. So my wife and I decided to check it out. Fantastic! We couldnt be happier to find such an excellent Indian cafe right near our home! The place is definitely a "best value!" The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The decor of the place is also very pleasing, with the perfect hint of modern and hip. And the service was outstanding! Very friendly staff! I just got home and am already planning my next visit!

I have been going to Indaroma since it opened about 5 years ago, and after trying many other Indian restaurants in the area, I can say their food is the best! I have lived in India, and my husband is Indian, so we know what authentic Indian food tastes like. Indaroma delivers to that expectation every time. Other Indian restaurants make the food too sweet, but Indaroma sticks to the authentic flavors. The restaurant is casual but modern feeling. Their Chicken Biryani is awesome, as is their Dal Makhani. Highly recommended!
