This rating is for their seamstress. Dry cleaning is great. Their seamstress is absolutely terrible. I needed two buttons replaced on my peacoat- simple right? No. When she first replaced it she sewed BOTH buttons in the wrong place- they were off from the holes by several INCHES. I took it back to have it re-done (since they make you pay in advance, I had already paid for this bad work). I just put the coat on after her "fix" and she sewed one of the buttons through the very obvious pocket. I cant use my coat pockets. Seriously?! How can you call yourself a professional seamstress and not know how to sew on two buttons?!?! Now Im going to have to go back a 3rd time. Dont trust this seamstress. Go somewhere else.

I went to this cleaners based on the low prices that they offer. You get what you pay for here. Over a 5 year period, I cant tell you how many buttons that I had to sew back on or shirts that were ruined due to mysterious stains that magically appeared during the "cleaning" process. Ive given them all the chances that Im willing to give. They refused to replace a laundry bag that I had left at their store and I sat there and watched a worker yank off another button that wasnt replaced. Im done using the money that I save here to replace the shirts that they ruin. If you use this place, have some extra clothes to wear when this happens to you.

*Edit* regained a star. For a better second experience. In by 9 am out by 5 pm was followed. Service and price is what it is. You get what you pay for. Quick turnaround which is great! Company states "in by 9 out by 5", but when I came back at 5 pm, the employee stated all my belongings werent finished "probably not until 6pm." I came back when stated and as she said they were done, not a huge deal as I only live 10 minutes away. That is why I docked one (1) star. The workers are extremely busy but extremely efficient at what they do.

Excellent establishment. High integrity. Jeff Levine, the owner, is an amazing human being. When I informed him that the dress I brought in had a mishap, he rectified the situation immediately. I needed the dress for an important event (I was receiving an award) and was stressed over the mishap. However, he just took control of the situation and fixed it. Incredible guy! I often talk about him in the leadership courses I teach, as an example of high integrity. Go to this establishment! Amazing business! Great place!

I live in Woodbridge from this place and ...I have been coming here for 15 plus years and the service is as good as ever. A good value for the money. Your staff are competent, efficient, very personable and have awesome memories. I always enjoy my trip to Zips Dry Cleaners of Alexandria to either dropping off or picking up! I loved the email notification when your clothes is ready for pick up. You have great employees at ZIPS.

This place is horrible..this chain should be closed for good. I dropped a shirt off to be cleaned here and they ripped it then said I ripped it before I turned it in. Who delivers a ripped shirt to be cleaned and pays money for it? They were truly insulting and I would suggest no one goes here to take there important garments they have paid earned money for to have it destroyed by to this particular branch. I never had this problem in Annandale.

Very efficient cleaners with several clerks that have an automatic key chain scan to check your items in/out. The price is very competitive especially for dry cleaning my down comforter at 19$ . I did just find a small hole in it and will have to call them to see how they will handle it as it was,definitely not there before. There was still 2 stains on it so thats why only 4 stars , their customer service was great, so far.

I brought my wedding dress here to be cleaned and they refused to do it. The thing is barely dirty. It dragged around on the floor a little during the reception. I dont want to spend a ton getting it cleaned because Im obviously not wearing it again. They said they dont clean wedding dresses though the frickin commercial and website both say they do. False advertising and waste of my damn time.

I use this cleaner regularly; have been for about six months. They got out some stains in spouses shirts where his leather jacket leaked in the rain; we were afraid it was dye and would never come out. I have to say they break buttons more than any other cleaner Ire ever used, though they replace them (of course) and re-press at no charge.

Fast service for unbeatable price. Most items are ready within 24 hours. Special cases can take a week however. The job was done and I paid just few dollars per piece while other cleaners wanted to charge me up to 8 times more. Location is convenient and the place has a parking for about 20 cars.

Just wanted to wash some clothes. They dont provide that service. A clear no would have sufficed but laughing at me is just very rude. Have never been treated this way when trying to bring some business to any place. And came here based on the good reviews.

I went here for the same reasons that many did, cheaper price and I must agree with the above comments that they are horrible or decent at best. I have had multiple shirts come back dirtier than they left and now refuse to ever use a zips dry cleaners

Excellent customer service friendly and attentive staff. I am very impressed with their desire to exceed customer expectations. Most note worthy is how they quickly resolve issues or problems. Certainly recommend cannot beat the prices.

Location is cool, but, half the stuff I take in gets tagged as far as "sorry, we couldnt get it completely clean". My. Clothes arent soiled or filthy. Makes me feel like they dont put much effort into actual cleaning...

I bring everything in my closet to this establishment. Except for white button down dress shirts and white Polo shirts. I notice that my shirts started to change colors and get damaged on the edges over time.

I have been using this place for at least 5 years. The Manager is great. The staff, mostly young immigrant women and girls, are courteous, polite and friendly. The service and quality of work are excellent.

Great service and price. My only gripe is sometimes they are a little to eager to not launder a shirt for ink stains. Ill often get a number of shirts rejected for a tiny pen mark.

Horrible Dry Cleaners!! Continuously have to send back shirts due to grease from the conveyor belt, shirts coming back with stains on the shirt. CONSUMER BEWARE!!!!
