I cant say enough about how amazing it was to work with Ken (owner), his office manager, Ana (his wife and the wonderful woman who keeps him in line ;)), and his team! Before starting my project, I met with 6-8 different contractors - all who I found on Angies List. Half of them NEVER got me a quote, a couple were outrageously high, and another was so low it scared me - lol. When I first met Ken, he was professional, personable, and wasnt concerned at all about executing on the many details I had in mind. When he turned around a very reasonable proposal, within a week, it was a done deal. Based on our meeting, his professionalism, and his timeliness, I new I had a winner. The team started work immediately and Ken came by daily to check on the job. The team was always respectful, polite, and, all-in-all, pretty CLEAN (for demolishing a brick wall, that says a lot!). If there were any questions or minor issues (so-in-so missed the molding on this window, etc) I could immediately call or text Ken and it was always an easy 1-2-3 answer or fix. Even when the guys accidentally installed my bathroom door incorrectly, because it couldnt be fixed, Ken completely replaced it - no questions asked! All the folks that he brought in (plumbers, electricians, engineers, etc) were always professional, friendly, and went above and beyond. The electrician helped (and taught) me how to replace my outside light fixtures (that was out of scope). The Elite Team (Elvin, Santos, etc) actually carried my Christmas Tree in for me off the top of my car! The plumber helped me replace my bathroom faucet (again, out of scope). This is all because the people Ken hires trust and respect him. He doesnt nickel and dime his customers and he treats his employees and subcontracts the same way. Hes just not nit-picky about those kind of things - some contractors could say, "no, we wont install this other light fixture without a change order", but Ken is fair and true to his word. Oh and I forgot to mention, when the project was done he had the guys spend a half day actually helping me to MOVE all my furniture and boxes into the house that were being stored in the garage!!! All I can say is my house is BEAUTIFUL. My kitchen is TO DIE FOR. And Im SO HAPPY with the final product. But, even more important than that, I found a contractor, a person, and a team that I truly TRUST - with my home, my money, my expectations. I also found friends, in both Ana and Ken. :)

My house was built in 1959 , in Arlington, VA. almost every thing in it needed to be replaced .My good luck brought me Elite Contractors and Ken (owner), he came with his architect/designer and looked the house over,took measurement, within few days came back to me with complete plans and a proposal, I looked it over asked for a couple of upgrades and it was agreed upon. A couple of weeks later permits were obtained and work started.the whole house was gutted, changed all old wiring and upgraded lines coming to house and the electrical panel, all the old pipes were removed, new furnace and AC unit, cleaned all ducts (they brought a specialist).My wifes favorite part is the kitchen ,it is the most modern design from the lighting to the back splash it is all awsome.the bathrooms (3) two old ones and a new one added, they are the best in my opinion plus the addition (over 800 Square ft.)After painting was complete the house from the inside was a brand new house,(especially after cleaning the duct work) wich was Kens suggestion.And after the new roof and siding and new wider and longer drivway I almost did not recognise my own house.from start to finish it took almost 12 week which was within the time frame that was given to me. Ken came up with a lot of good new designs for the kitchen and bathrooms that were impressive.Project manager was always on top of every step of the work, they hired top quality trades men in every aspect of the work bieng done. Always completing every step on timeThank you Elite Contractors (Ken), I have a beautifull new house.When it comes to a major job like mine I would always go with Elite Contractors Service and I highly recommend them to all who want a great job done professionally.

Absolutely top endorsement. I am in the military and got back after being away for three years and needed help remodeling the front of our house taking down an old, dilapidated porch and replacing it with a nice portico. We spoke with three other contractors prior to finding Ken Rahim and Elite Contractors. They either blew us off (Zelaya) or came in way over budget. Ken responded immediately to our call and met with us shortly thereafter. We had a good conversation about what we wanted. He LISTENED closely and came back a few days later with a strong proposal. Ken took care of the permits with Fairfax county and was flexible enough and always available to discuss changes as the project progressed. He was at our house nearly every day checking on how things were going and making sure we were happy with his crew. His crew is the secret to success in my opinion. He hires his own people to do 90% of the work. There is none of the standard having to wait for an electrician or a plumber or the painter or days upon days of down time. Progress was made everyday - it was an awesome feeling. The team was at the house every day by 8 am and worked throughout the day. Orli, the team lead, is a master craftsman and wonderful person. They cleaned up at the end of every day which made us and the neighbors happy. The other key for us and another reason for the 5 star review was Kens personal involvement and accessibility. He truly wants the job done how you want it done while willing to give you his perspective based off of 20 years in the business. Great overall experience, we highly recommend Elite Contractors and will absolutely rely on Ken and ECS the next time we need work done on our house.

I recently had the distinct pleasure of working with the team from Elite on an addition to my 115 year old house, which included a new kitchen and bedroom, as well as two bathroom remodels. Ken, Ana, Mike and the entire crew exceeded every expectation I had going into the process. The crew was clean and very respectful of my home. On the days that I was home to see, I was constantly amazed at how hard they all worked. Ana was wonderfully patient as I obsessed over finding the perfect backsplash tile; Ken provided sage advice on all aspects of the project; and Mike, the architect and structural engineer, deserves sainthood for his time commitment to the permitting process. I absolutely love the finished product. I cant thank the whole team enough for their work and I hope to find opportunities to work with them in the future!

I was in charge of a major office renovation project for my company headquarters in Alexandria, VA. We are the US subsidiary of a German financial institution. I had a very tight deadline and budget. Elite Contractors were the only vendor that was able to offer the job within my limits and they did follow through on their promises. We had some unusual ideas that we wanted to be incorporated like a huge curved glass wall as part of the conference room and they made it happen. I really liked how they worked with me finding solutions for unforseen obstacles, like HVAC ductwork not being where the old design drawings had them. Without their flexibilty and creative solutions this would have caused me some major headache. I will use them again for future projects.
