Phoenix installed flagstone on a concrete base in two main areas of my property. They installed the flagstone on my front stairs and a circular opening and sidewalk out to my driveway. Phoenix also installed wrought iron railings on the staircase - to replace good railings that had some rust. Around the side and back of my house, they installed a flagstone patio and walkway. Although the cost was slightly above other estimates, I decided to go with Phoenix mainly because of my positive interactions and perceived trust with Clint Asmar, the design consultant and salesman. The quality of the flagstone is about what I expected. It appears as good as any other flagstone walkways or patios that I have seen. One stone cracked within a couple months of the installation, but that is probably not unusual. The quality of the wrought iron railing was amaturish and immediately resulted in rust (within just a few days). Part of the issue could be that they were spraying the railings with rustolium in the rain. I made the mistake of paying for the job despite the fact there were minor (exception of the railings) issues. After some prompting, Phoenix did complete and improve some of the issues. An employee impressed me as he noticed issues that I was unaware of and fixed them. Although aggravating to have to monitor the contractor to ensure missteps would not occur and to fix issues after the installation, I was impressed they were willing to identify and then fix issues that I was unaware of. Regardless, I would have rather not had any issues to start with and I would have had more time to devote to other projects. Although I was promised on several occasions, no one has come to fix the wrought iron railings. They continue to rust and are unsightly. I recently contacted them again and now they are asking me to fill out a warranty request for the bad instal. As with my previous requests, there are promises but I am still left with railings that are no better than the ones they replaced (expect that I paid $2K for that privilege).

They helped design and build a screened in porch and stone patio for our single family home and we love it (3 years and running now). Clint A. (our rep) was great to work with. He is good at hearing your vision and providing his thoughts as well (the one thing I appreciated from him was his honest opinion if our vision didnt fit the house - you dont want a "yes" man to do what you want but someone to provide different angles and options to make you think differently). They also have a great warranty program as well in case there are issues with the stone or material (I have had them come twice in the 3 years and they have done great work each time to repair or re-baseline our structure). The only reason why I didnt give 5 stars was there were inconsistencies on communications during the warranty services I had (I had to wait for weeks on status and had to be proactive to follow up). The services again were great when it was done but managing expectations needed improvement to know when things were happening. I would recommend their services to others.

I had a deck that was literally falling apart, swaying from side to side pretty frightening actually. Not sure if it was just so old or was just poor workmanship. However, I called Phoenix for an estimate after being referred to by another neighbor. They answered the phone immediately and set me up with an appt. for the next day! Their designer came out and measured my project, educated me about the best type of product I should use, told me about warrantys, and said I would get my detailed proposal and design the next day. I have to admit I had other estimates but the timely fashion that Phoenix was able to do everything is the reason I went with them, and how my neighbors deck looked helped sway me ;) I was told my project start date and they as usual were right on time everyone was helpful and worked effectively, i didnt have to babysit, they cleaned up after themselves everyday and when my project was all said and i done i knew i made the right choice going with Phoenix!!!

Although I believe we may have been a little out of their range Clint A. responded without hesitation. During the very busy spring season Phoenix Home Services squeezed us in. His vision was nothing less than stellar. Clint and his team are a very hard working and fast crew (completed quicker than anticipated). Phoenix did an egress window, as well as bricked off two of our windows. We had some timing issues, but they did an outstanding job of making it up to us. At the end of the day, their work looks great!
