Please beware of this caterer. For a recent event, I found them to be disorganized, unprofessional, and unpleasant. From the start, when I was handed from person to person during the sales process (each time having to explain anew the event, and my having to initiate follow ups) to the end (when centerpieces were forgotten and the "Event Manager" who failed to show up at specified time and then told the venue coordinator that she was not, in fact, there to manage the event); from the top (with the companys general manager whose tone was rude, defensive, and not client oriented, when concerns were raised) to the bottom (with staff at the event who ignored reasonable requests from the clients, such as a request to promptly and adequately chill the beverages, and were often disagreeable). (Not everyone was disagreeable, there were a couple of lovely servers on site.) Having watched what happened at my event and a previous event, I am told the venue coordinator will no longer allow Main Event Caterers to cater at his venue. I have been to events where Main Event was well-received -- which is why we chose them -- but our experience was stressful and unpleasant, to say the least.

We retained Main Event Caterers for the wedding reception - including set up for the wedding ceremony, reception hors doeuvres, specialty cocktails, full sit down dinner, excellent wines, and fabulous desert bar. What needs mention here is the quality of the food - every portion and course served was outstanding - and the quality of the staff -- who set up following another wedding - and turned the venue into a high end fairy-tell setting - replete with white table cloths - fine china - cutlery - outstanding waiters and service beyond compare. Do you get what you pay for? Absolutely! Wedding receptions are the most expensive item -- and thus expectations were high and judgement reserved. From the moment the last guest left - the phenomenal break down and cleaning of the venue - the rave reviews of our guests on the wonderful food and service --- everyone commented on the seamless quality of every aspect o Main Event Caterers. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Main Events catered my wedding last week. Several of my guests commented how delicious the food was. When the band showed up late and things had to be moved around, Karla, the Main Events on-site supervisor, provided helpful suggestions that kept the reception program on track. All my interactions with Main Events were very positive. They were consistently professional and accommodating - even providing us an additional tasting to make sure the herb chicken was to our liking. I highly recommend them!

While the area surrounding main events is a bid grim, the people there were awesome. They are there to help cater your events and bring location based knowledge to each event. Their prices were slightly higher than other however it was a marginal difference and personally I think the price is well worth it

Very nice luncheon at the SESMA event. Great food with well orchestrated serving staff. The fish was cooked nice and moist with all sides nicely paired. I was a clean plate ranger. Thanks Ted Rubis President of Ampa Events.
