I have worked out at several gyms in the past couple years and I must say they all pale in comparison to this place. First, it is a franchise which means local ownership so you are going to get personalized service from the moment you walk in the door. Second, the equipment in there is in amazing condition, all appearing to be brand new. Third (and I found this to be the # 1 selling point), this place feels like YOUR GYM. I dont know any other way to describe it better...other than to say that you feel like you have a massive gym all to yourself, even when people are there. I only went here for the 7 day free trial because I was staying closer to this gym than my regular one. In short, I am ready to find a way out of my Golds contract in order to start going to this gym! The price is right, even if you dont want a contract. Just make sure you let them know when you are coming to check it out because the facility is generally locked (which is another bonus). Lastly, theres a huge solo shower/bathroom which adds to the feeling that you are working out in a state-of-the-art gym at home. Also, one or more of their trainers is a competitive bodybuilder who apparently has won some pretty big competitions lately. I didnt get much info on the personal training side but I know this location is new and they will find a way to make it work if you are looking for cost-effective personal training.

Costs just as much as 24 Fitness but has no swimming pool, lockers, towel service, or drinks for sale. At $34 per month, Id expect a bit more. But its the only 24-hour place with all the basic weights and treadmills in Richmond, VA.

Clean with lots of equipment. Price is on part with other gyms in the area. Wish it didnt have an annual contract, but other than that its a good gym.

Friendly atmosphere and great personal trainers. Never too crowded even during the 5-7 early evening hours. Highly recommended.
