Not a place to go if you are serious about working out. If you want snacks and a gym that is utilized as more of a hookup spot, then this gym is for you.And be careful, if you know more than the staff and are approached by a member of their team for advice, dont give it....youll be kicked out for training their own staff for FREE! Dont be a female utilizing free weights too much and dont even think about doing a dead lift.... thinking about it could get you kicked out as well, ha! For a judgement free zone, there is plenty of judging happening. Pay the extra for a gym where you can truly go to obtain gains and not munch on pizza, bagels and watch others socialize and hook up.

I pretty positive the bathrooms should cleaned thoroughly everyday. Why is it everyday I go to planet fitness I see the same pieces of trash in each shower. You can see dirt build up on the floor and in the shower. The showers still stink. Mats in front of each shower are covered in mildew. Why is it everytime I go in the mens room it never smells like cleaning products??????? Somebody needs to give a cleaning class or something. This is ridiculous. Im really close to calling who ever I need to get this bacteria/infection breeding grounds CLEANed ASAP!!!!

Well. I just called planet fitness in an attempt to sign up for a trial run to assess the gym. Learned that planet fitness doesnt offer trial runs. Was told I had to pay $10 a day to get in. The gentleman offered me a $10 down $10 a month cancel anytime contract. But Im already a member of Anytime Fitness and was inquiring to see if it was worth the switch....guess not. They must not want new business. Or those new wacky commercials must be bringing in great revenue. Good luck yall.

I called up there about three minutes ago and the woman answering the phone was extremely unprofessional! There was no " Hello, Thank you for calling Planet Fitness " she answered the phone randomly talking and I could not understand a word she said . Horrible phone etiquette ! I said " hello,is this planet fitness" she said yes it is could you hold for a moment " I said " sure" She did not put me on hold just talking again could not understand a word she was saying .

Tried to get a membership during their current promotion of $1 down and $10 a month no commitment. I tried to pay for 1 year up front cash so they didnt have to draw from my account and instead of paying $121 based on the promo they said that it would be $199 because you get penalized (they said) for paying in advance. The promo is only good if they get to have my checking account #. If there is no commitment, then why cant I pay upfront? What a scam!

Absolute garbage. This dumper fires staff is unprofessional as they are rude. I know its more for Golds/Jungle Boyz gym but pay more for a legitimate establishment like literally any other place but this one. Not all Planet Fitness franchises are as bad as this one when it comes to a customer service standpoint, so dont let this place set your expectations for the other locations. Final verdict: Dont be cheap and dodge this bullet.

Its a nice gym. Its clean, and the equipment is spaced out nicely. You dont feel like youre shoulder to shoulder like some gyms. Some group classes would be nice, but for the price, I really cant complain. 20 bucks a month, and you get gym access, tanning, massage chairs, hydro-massage (this is an awesome way to end a workout) and the Total Body Enhancement, which I havent tried yet, but have been told its a great workout.

I dont know why people bitchabout PF. This place has free-weights, treadmills and all kinds of machines. You can get into shape anywhere if you workout. PF has nothing to do with you being consistent and not eating like a pig. Cheapest gym I have ever been part of and I began at 300+ pounds. I am now around 240 lbs. AND I totally eat pizza here on Mondays. I like that they buy me lunch and then I get to go lift.

Pros- clean, high ceilings, really awesome giant ceiling fans Cons- Crappy hours (Im used to a 24/7 planet fitness... only three days a week is it open 24 hrs. And on weekends it closes at 7pm). This is my main concern; the company prides itself on the 24/7 thing... just not here. The equipment seems newer than some of the other Planet Fitness Ive gone to, but there are less options.

worst gym EVER DO NOT JOIN! I have tried to cancel my membership even went there handed the manager BRANDON POOLE a letter stating I was canceling and they are still taking money out of my account!! LAWYER heading that way! BTY it is the Fredericksburg location but I can see Im not the only one with that problem District attorneys office is getting a call tomorrow.

Too crowded. Dont join unless you plan on going at 2am on a Tuesday. I moved in to California and I have been calling them for 100 times to cancel my membership and they wont and still changing me and I called my bank and had to 30$ in order to make stop stupid plan fitness charging me for no reason.. I would recommend nobody to join dirty plan fitness.

I love the facility its always clean the equipment is not worn But each and every time I attempt to do the 30 minute circuit training room idiots are in the room doing their own thing interrupting the 19 station workout station. They act clueless when you end up in front of them when you are expecting them to MOVE.

My first time gym experience. I have never been to a gym before in my life and when I visited Planet Fitness I felt like a strange person in a new land. But the staff is pretty friendly and they have a wide array of different equipment to choose from. I love their "no judgment zone" slogan and atmosphere!

No complaints. The staff is great and the machines/equipment are good. Definitely a steal for the price. Had been a little turned off while researching Planet Fitness prior to Fredericksburgs opening, but never any experiences like what I had read. Worth the investment, for sure!

Man, this place is so chill! Everyone is friendly, working hard & respecting each other. Weve been a member for about 2 weeks now and no complaints what so ever. Never had to wait on machines and the gym is so big that its not crowded even when theres a lot people. Good energy

Simply horrible i signed up thinking i had the time to go when they said no cancling fee (lied) then when the year was up i cancled and they still took money and tried to get it back they was nothing but rude rude rude i would rather spend more money than to ever go back there

Happy with my membership here. Nice facilities, staff, and equipment. I would recommend people here. I would only wish that there was more free weights and a water bottle filler water fountain ( saw one at another PF and liked it a lot ), but this is just me nit picking.

Nice, clean, cardio-centric facility. Free weights are limited and users (especially during peak hours) tend to hoard/babysit dumbells. Smith machines and mats for stretching tend to be taken so plan your workout accordingly. Still, cant beat the resources for $10/mo
