After searching for our ideal farm for close to five years, we finally found it in Madison County. But this could never have been achieved without the patience, fortitude, and expertise of Gayle Harvey. Because she listened attentively as we spoke to her of our intentions and as she got to know us better, Gayle helped us narrow our focus; she carefully explained and described each possibility to us to help us determine which farms would be most appealing to us and which of those available would probably not suit our needs. To advance our search, she did not restrict us to her company’s listings alone; instead, she tapped into all resources available to her. Gayle made many accommodations for us taking several days from her busy schedule to show us each farm on our list during our many visits to the area. Often these visits became “mini-marathons” where we toured five or more farms each day for several consecutive days. Gayle’s familiarity with the area and properties became invaluable; she knew property lines, water sources, soil composition, and other salient factors we needed to consider. Whatever she didn’t know, she researched and found out. Although these were long days, our time spent with Gayle was always pleasurable. When we finally found “the farm,” Gayle was right there with us diligently working through an extremely tense and difficult negotiation process which included the intricate challenge of a 1031 Exchange. She clearly showed herself to be the consummate professional! Gayle’s intelligence, common sense, work ethic, wit and affability create a winning combination for her clients; she certainly exceeded our expectations. With that said, we can offer only our highest and most enthusiastic recommendation for Gayle Harvey and Gayle Harvey Real Estate.

I had the pleasure of working with Gayle Harvey when I was looking for a gentlemans farm property. Gayle has been terrific to work with - she is very patient, has a great perspective on the market, understands farming very well, and, most importantly, listens to what clients are looking for. Impressively, she will only represent one side in order to remain a "true" agent - despite receiving half the typical commission.
