I went to this establishment to make appointment for a hairstyle. Im was encourage to make appointment with Shavanae. I left the picture of the style I wanted along with my phone # so she could call me with an estimate price and to see if she could do the style I wanted. I was also told to call her. I waited the next day and never got a call. I called the next day and was told by the owner that Shavenae was in a consult and could not come to the phone if I could call back in 15 minutes. I asked her if she could relay a message and was told again to call back in 15 minutes. I was already on the road so after doing some errands I stopped by and waited for the rest of the 15 minutes I had left to wait to call. No one approached me after I waited the over 15 minutes I was supposed to have called again so I left and called from the car. The owner answer and was pretty rude. I asked her if I was being discriminated because I was not an African American client. She told me I did not do what I was told to do which was to call back in 15 minutes and showed up instead. So what I waited over 15 minutes . If I called or talked in person is the same thing. I tried to explain I did what I was told but she hung up. I called back to say I will call BBB and NAACP. Its not just for African American people that are discriminated. Its for all kind of discrimination. This time Shavenal answered and said she had an appointment in the books for me. I told her I did exactly what I was told to do. To leave the picture, leave my phone #, call for a quote for the hairstyle , wait for her call which never came. Now I am being hung up for doing a f/u on something they were supposed to get back at me with the information requested . They had my name, phone, picture of a very simple style by all accounts. I wouldnt recommend this salon to no one. Unless you are of African decedents. Talk about double standards. By the way , Im Hispanic. C.Gonzalez-Holbrook

This was my first visit to this salon. I deceided to make an appointment based on the reviews and that the stylist does transitioning hair. The environment was clean, and professional. I feel as though my experience was below average due to my hair not being washed well, hair not being detangled from end up. I was looking forward to a better experience.

Ive been going to this salon for several years and I absolutely love it. Theyre very professional and friendly. I always enjoy a good conversation while Im there and feel like a valued customer. Its very clean and has a nice atmosphere. Most importantly they always do an awesome job on my hair.
