Actually, I was thinking to give 5 star and would go back to this pl,but changed my mind after getting free after service. They were friendly and my designer Jelena was careful and listened to my details.Strangely my color came out as darker than I wanted and darker than the color sample match we both had agreed. When I called them to find out why and they kindly offered me free coloring.Even the owner called me and made sure that I would get free retouching without hair damage when I was worried. Yesterday, I went for the retouching. My designer explained the reason was my previous bleaching from black color to get warm purple brown left some dark spots or my original dark hair overgrew. Well, thats understandable ,but I had explained my color history with her and she d discussed my case with the Japanese designer before starting on my first visit. Anyway, I was appreciated their offer.When the manager came to explain what I was going to get yesterday before starting , the credit was broken-she said that I would need bleaching and new coloring after that and my hair would not be able to avoid damage. This was what I had been concerned and Id asked the owner when she had called me about the chance of having damage in a week time, but the ownerd said"No" and had told me that they would use some special product or so. I didnt expect this and was hesitating. The manager told me that the owner is not a designer and doesnt know well. I felt that was not nice to hear. Then, my designer Jelena suggested me having some highlights instead, which leaves less damage. To be honest, I dont like having highlights and simply wanted to have the same color that I was wearing. Anyway, I agreed and went for it as I had to choose the less damaging one. Told her that it did look brighter and showed my appreciation for her work. Here are what made me change my opinion about them. - Half done dry, my hair was still wet and she said all set. I understand having full blow dry costs extra.However, they gave me that on my first visit.It was cloudy and a bit chilly yesterday and was going to meet friends. Didnt want fancy styling. I could appreciate more if she dried my wet hair fully. So, I had to meet my friends with still wet hair and they all surprised. - No good byes sharing from the receptionist. Actually, I was standing to leave some tips for Jelenas work but the receptionist was busy with another customer.So, I waited but she didnt share words with me.Felt nobody cared, then changed my mind.So I just left saying thank you and bye ,but didnt hear returns. Again, I appreciate their offering free retouching and friendly care .But, feel the second time was disappointing and not sure that they or my designer Jelena is confident about Asians hair or coloring. They didnt offer me to drink this time and she skipped massaging my head when shampooing like the first visit.Dont get me wrong. I was thinking these were so fine until those two above happened to me.

Had an unfortunate experience. I came in for a grey/silver balayage. Emailed the salon ahead of time with photos asking if they could do grey and was assured they could. My stylist was kind and the salon was very nice but it seems they may not be experienced with unnatural coloring. My stylist claimed she could do the coloring without bleaching. When it came down to it I was initially discomforted that while she was test stranding beforehand, she called another stlyist over and they were whispering behind me about my hair so I could not hear. She was a little rough occasionally pulling on my hair painfully even during washing but nothing extreme. The dye did not take to my hair and now I have blotches of light grey in my blonde hair. I have suspicion that they knew this beforehand and thats why they were whispering. I was not angry just very sad and disappointed and the stylist was kind and polite and did not charge me. I just wish they had been more honest and upfront about their experience with this color. I dont feel confident going back, even the stylist seemed unsure of her ability to do the color after all was said and done.

Salon Khouri is the best !! I have been going to Jonathan for at least 20years even before he open the salon,and Jonathan is the best really fantastic, he knows exactly what my hair need, the right haircut and also he does highlights.I always feel great every time I go to the Salon.Jonathan is the best ! All my family goes to Salon Khouri and even it it takes them 1 hour or more to get there they will never change. Also everybody at the Salon is so friendly and professional.They do a fantastic job at washing your hair and they have this great massage chairs when you have your hair washed.. I just know this is the best hair Salon .

After 30 years of bouncing around the metro areas hot salons, I finally find one that is a keeper. The owner, Jonathan, pays as much attention to the details of his business as he does his trade and both show consistently fabulous results. There is virtually no turnover of stylists here. Everyone is happy and treats each other and clients like family. Ive been a client for 3 years and every time I visit I am still impressed. I highly recommend Rebecca as the best technician for thermal reconditioning anywhere. I have experience with 3 other TR technicians in the area and none compare to the skill she brings to the process.

Went in to get the Thermal Reconditioning about a month ago and absolutely love it! Ive gotten it done before at a place in Rockville only to deal with someone who didnt pay much attention to what they were doing so of course after a few weeks my hair started to break. Here they really knew what they were doing and I am absolutely LOVING my hair and having absolutely no breaking or no problems at all. Rebecca and Stephanie were amazing and I would highly recommend them for TR and for a hair cut! Thanks Ladies! :)

Ive been going to Jonathan since before he opened his own shop, maybe 15 years, and I wouldnt go anywhere else. Even after all these years he checks my hair carefully at every appointment and makes any adjustments needed. He trains his staff to perfection and follows up on their performance so that he can correct any deficiencies. Truly a well run and personal care salon. Also very involved in Community Outreach projects, often those with personal meaning to his clients.

Yelena is fantastic! I am new to the area and am so happy to have found my new hair place! Yelenas coloring technique was flawless. I havent found any gaps or spots she missed. My blowout lasted for 3 days. The shampoo... the msssage... I would literally go back and pay to have her wash my hair again. Their chairs massage while youre being washed... all around fantastic experience and the price was great!
