Ive been going to this dry cleaning business since May 2012. Up until now they were great, a little more than the average dry cleaner in cost from what I heard at the time, but the service made up for it. It wasnt until recently where that excellent service came to an end. About 8 hours after I had picked up my uniform from them while I was getting dressed for night shift, I noticed a large burn mark from an iron made on my pants and on the collar of my shirt I had left with them. I took them back the next day, and was told immediately that it was like that when I left it with them. I told them it was impossible, since I dont iron my uniforms and they were the only dry cleaner I used. The manager became involved, and also said it was left like that when they got it. I asked them if that were true, why wouldnt they point that out to me after I picked it up since they offer tailoring as well, and I was told "we thought you were in a rush." After going back and forth and being outright called a liar by the workers, the manager began yelling at me and told me to get out while his employee consoled him and told him to calm down. I told them that I would, and I wont be coming back, they just lost a customer. The manager responded with "Good", continuing to yell as I was on my way out the door and telling me to "Go f*** myself", on the way out. I was so flustered I left the receipt, but went back for it and picked it up, again hassled by the manager to "Never come back" as I was asking for it. Thankfully I was able to get it back, finding that it was crumpled in the trash near their register. The only compensation they offered, before the manager started yelling at me, was to charge me to repair the burn marks made, even though it was entirely their fault. I have reported them to the BBB and I am currently seeking compensation for their actions, as they accepted no responsibility for their actions and thought it would be easier to call me a liar and verbally abuse me rather than to make things right as well as ruining one of my uniforms. DO NOT go to this business if you like your clothes, self-respect, and your wallet. Ive also come to find that they charge more than double another local dry cleaner does on top of everything.
