Ill start off by telling you I have always, childhood tears echo deep rooted terror, so I dreaded going to get my hair cut. Then when you are forced to change stylist, its panic. I took a chance on Mango, and was recommended Ashley by the lady on the phone. Upon arrival I was warmly greeted and shown where anything I could possibly need is. Sipping a cucumber water I didnt wait long. You get a complimentary consultation so they understand you as an individual, a head massage and hot towel while you chill out with a hand massage. Bliss! All products are bumble and bumble, excellent stuff. She recommended a style to help solve my layers that grew out badly while framing my face. I went with her idea (the massage really was that relaxing) and I LOVE IT!!! She gave me a cut I can wear with my hairs natural texture and I can style easily. Im so happy! Oh and they were far better priced than the in store salons. The service is spa level pampering for an amazing price. All you have to worry about is falling asleep in pure relaxation.

I had a wonderful time at Mango Salon, my first visit was sensational. After a tour of the salon, Marina and I discussed my hair and issues that Ive had with it in the past. She was phenomenal at listening to what I had to say and really seemed to understand my level of hair knowledge and what I would need to have the type of hair I needed and was able to take care of. She gave me a lovely cut! I have since returned for my second and again, have had Marina as my stylist. She is a fantastic stylist, with a wonderful, glowing personality. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her and the rest of the Mango team. I am so thankful that I finally found a salon that I feel comfortable in, none of that stuck up, pretentious vibe you get at other high-end Richmond salons! Summary: Highly Recommended - Marina is the best!

Destiny has been cutting my hair over the course of almost a year now, she always listens to my request and surprises me with not only an amazing cut and style that meets my demands, but wonderful conversation. She takes her time with the cut, making sure that every strand meshes perfectly with the others, like one big, happy family of curls -- I love it! I also have a pretty gnarly cowlick that weve been trying to master, we havent quite figured it out, but I trust Bumble & Bumble will take care of what we cant. All around this Mango is my favorite Mango, be it the atmosphere, the skill and personality of my stylist, or the product -- I absolutely love it and hope yall get a chance to have an experience like mine.

I went to the Short Pump location. The experience was amazing. They have friendly staff and Ashley who cut my hair was so nice and confident. She trimmed my curly hair and put in a few layers. She was very knowledgeable. I love my haircut! They offer you beverages, I suggest the Aveda tea. They also put a warm towel on your head, give you a head massage while washing your hair, and give you a hand massage! I was amazed and more than happy to go here. I will definitely be going again!

This salon provides TERRIBLE SERVICE. I had an appointment at 11:15 on 5.6.17. When I arrived I was told my appointment had been cancelled; that I called and cancelled. I did not. There was no attempt to rectify this situation and I was left without an appointment. When I called the manager I was told I would get a call regarding this. I was never contacted. If you want to make sure you get a hair service done DO NOT GO HERE. Terrible, terrible service.
